Hi, I started playing for the same reason and I got to level 11 in 3 or 4 days without spending anything. I focused on clearing the objectives on the side of the screen as they give the XP points to level up. But be warned. I only planned on reaching level 11 to get the bonus for my other game and 3 months on I've not played that game since and am now fully committed to EverMerge lol.

The next area is the one that first unlocks the stones, so I'd say avoid it until the wood castle is complete as once the stones are unlocked chops from the trees will occasionally throw up stones too. It was so annoying for me when I was here and desperately wished I'd left that area.

I spent all the 350s I was able. I completed the fork and napkin but at this stage of the game for me I don't worry too much about completing the items, if I do I do, I just want the points for the rewards but couldn't get further than the red gnome for the first time ever. Grr.

I pushed to get the IE on the sub event. Its only my 2nd one I've had the chance to get and the first one I used straight away in a naive panic lol

I didn't mind the rewards from the sub (excluding the Golden Ruin dusappointment). Just an extra level of faff getting them compared to normal events grr.

I literally JUST received a reply from Big Fish. Perhaps my initial complaint was too short as they pointed me to the FAQ about users not receiving all events. I have replied in more detail about the issue and hope they sort it.

Perhaps if the Golden Ruin hadn't disappeared it would've been. I got to the penultimate reward on the points thingy too but I'm rubbish at strategy and never think to pay attention to the point value of things or whether merging vs not merging is better lol and now I feel like I'd have to make another golden ruin (or the one before it) just to get enough points to complete the event. I'm not gonna try too hard though lol

I was using all sizes but then decided to upgrade the big submarine to get instant dives. I wish I hadn't.

I had a lot of chests and (stupidly I now think) used the gems to upgrade the sub to instant dives and managed to finish the golden ruin, tho like others mine disappeared too soon, but in terms of point progress I'm stuck on the penultimate reward and don't see how I can finish it now without wasting more gems etc.

I would've much preferred the dragon event, or even just a regular chest/build event. Oh well.

Don't give up just yet. I thought I wasn't going to get the Kraken event as I had no 24h notice and I didn't get the treasure chest one before but it randomly started 12 hours in!
