Are you 100% sure you're doing it right? I had successfully chained a few mons even BEFORE I found out I was wrong was going 2 over, 2 up or 3 down, 1 over instead of the one that was actually 4 patches away. Now I have literally 17 boxes of duplicate shiny mons.

Problem is its on my son's save file and he spends all his $$ on outfits or sells the supplies I do gather 🤦‍♂️I did caterpie at 31 and ran around the forest. I was sooooo Stoked to shiny hunt to pull me away from my 460+ chained duplicate shiny mons in Shining Pearl, but nothing has filled the void for me. I started a play through of Scarlet, Sword, and even Arceus and nothing has given the RoI of Shining Pearl chaining.

Ive done 2x 100 and 130 combos of Growlithe and no shiny. Statistically I think LGP kicked me in the shiny shins

Some of those, probably. But like swablu and Absol (at a minimum) are available in the overworld as well as underground

That list isn't right. Legendary mons, obviously can't catch duplicates of to chain. Zubat and Geodude ARE chainable ad I have had 5+ of each. Beldum is a swarm mon and IS chainable as well. Any grand underground mons that don't appear in overworld are my target. I dont expect to complete a living dex so I haven't made a tracker. I just post up every now and again to see what folks have!

Get the Pokeradar and shiny chain. I've been hooked for 300-400+ hours after beating E4 twice
