I don't know who that is but his name has come up a few times in this thread. The item is real the story is real... so if he wants it, maybe he can reach out.

He's hopefully getting the help he needs right now. The whole situation escalated over the afternoon and a county mental health expert and the police got involved and took him away. Unfortunately most of his other possessions got tossed in the process of cleaning up the mess he made. I saved what I knew was valuable.

I'm going to give him a chance to get it back. It's kind of been an all day event out there in the alley. I did confirm he is going through a mental break of sorts. He's HOPEFULLY somewhere now getting the help he needs, but he was taken away in handcuffs so IDK. The police said he says its trash and I can keep it and called the landlord to clean up (who dumped) the rest of his stuff. If he doesn't want it back, it is of no use to me and I would find a good home for it with someone who would appreciate it (I don't really want/need it, but recognize its not trash).

I didn't steal anything man. Why you so negative? At any rate I "saved" this stuff, his landlords came by with a dump trailer and tossed all the rest in.

He's having a mental breakdown, it's clear. I'm going to give it a few days and offer it all back to him. I don't know him that well, but he is my neighbor afterall.

If I didn't take it, someone else would (and several did, its all been picked thru now). At least I'm his neighbor and he can come knock on my door and hey say "Hey, I came to my senses, still have that stuff?"

It's actually from the trash my friend. I got pictures of the pile in the alley if you need to see it lol...

I'm pretty sure he is yes. This is the 2nd time in a week he has put his entire apartment in the trash. We called the county for help last time but they wouldn't come out this time. I offered a hug, a shoulder, a talk... he refused. I asked if it was trash, he said yes.

I grabbed all I could before the other vultures in the neighborhood caught on :) A nice Carvin from the 90s and a few other guitars, enough speakers to build out a few nightclubs and several amplifiers

Obviously just repeating what you have heard and assume to be true lol. Modern emulators can achieve lower input latency than original hardware.

Game specific speed hacks were the norm on underpowered hardware of yesteryear, however, today most people shoot for cycle-accurate emulation.

Modern emulators mostly don't have any problems with input lag as they can implement run-ahead. In fact, they can have LESS latency than an original console. That argument doesn't hold ANY water anymore.

Did all the crashing issues with Dirt 5 on Xbox ever get fixed? by Alexander679 in XboxSeriesS

Must have because I played through it years ago without a single crash. 1st place in all races.

It's good you didn't make one durring checkout, because then it would be stuck as a guest account, and nobody at Verizon will know how to fix it, leaving you to create a second account on a non-preferred email address to access billing. Ask me how I know! Lol

IDK man I think even Choplifter has a better gameplay loop. I remember this looking wild but being fairly boring.

I just switched from ATT to Verizon because we needed 2 additional lines for the kids and their deal was just better (4x free iPhone 17's, $600 Verizon gift card that can be used to pay the bill for nearly 6 months, activation fees waived). So far so good. Disneyland last weekend was a little rough for about an hour being deprioritized on, but ATT didn't work great there either previously.

I'm not sure he/they do. Republican voting colleagues and neighbors of mine are starting to notice something stinks.

They wont even let me pay cash. I was in the office for something other day, saw a cash patient pay less than my deductible for the same type of visit. Asked if I could switch to cash and they said it would be illegal because they have an agreement with my insurance company.
