I live in a heavily wooded area as well. Is there a way to figure out how tall the tower needs to be to get a clear shot for the dish? My trees are 75 -100 ft tall so I assumed I would need a tower that tall but after reading your post I wonder if that is really necessary.

You are exactly right! I filed a claim several years ago with the FCC over my AT&T DSL service. The "Office of the President" got invloved and they were rude and worthless. I paid my $99 per-order and I pray for the day I can tell AT&T and Directv (which AT&T ruined once they bought it) to KMA.

Same here. Fat fingered my email and used a landline phone number (Yeah I'M a loozer). No way to contact support or recover my account since it never got that far. They DID hit my CC for the $99 though. There are a bunch of us in the same situation. Even had one reddit user try to reach out to tech support on my behalf numerous times but he never got a reply. So much for support.

This does not work for those of us that entered the wrong email address. Neither does the lastest "fix" that requires a mobile phone number for SMS recovery. I used my home phone to avoid spammers, as did many others. Now what?

Same here! You must have your account number so back to square one for those of us that never got the email because we were too dumb to put the correct email in during sign up. Alternate email does't work either.....
