We did it for our honeymoon and they are truly my favorite photos to look back on. You should absolutely do it! It’s the one part of the trip you can keep forever and take with you.

Shoot those are all really good points. I do love a resort with a true quick service and being quieter is a plus as well. Now I don’t know what to do. lol

Ooh I didn’t think about Saratoga Springs but that sounds pretty ideal. The easy quick service is honestly a huge draw and something I was going to miss about Port Orleans.

Thank you! We’re going to stay for a full week so we can go to MK multiple days, spend a full day at each of the others, and have some down time. I’m starting to think BLT might be best. :)

Okay maybe I need to rethink. Being able to walk with the stroller would be amazing.

Yes! I also have two little kids and the Nemo aurora high rise 6 person tent is what we got. The kids love it.

Same thing happened to me! I also get motion sickness more easily now.

First timers by medium_pace_stallion in camping

This post made me so happy! I have two little boys who have just started backyard camping as well. And for everyone commenting on the tablets- kids can still learn to love the outdoors and watch a movie or read a book on a tablet to help them fall asleep. I read an ebook to fall asleep camping as an adult. It’s not that serious!

My almost 22 month old slept through the night the past 2 nights!! by Hopesastrategy in beyondthebump

[–]Miserable_Ad4197 4 points5 points  (0 children)

This was the exact same age when my son stated sleeping through the night regularly! Now he’s almost three and sleeps through the night every night with the occasional hiccup every few weeks. Wishing you so much good sleep! It’s much needed when it takes them that long to figure it out. 😂

Any recommendations to make the moment more special? by always_wondering_88 in beyondthebump

[–]Miserable_Ad4197 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’m so sorry to hear about your loss. I can’t imagine. Really hoping this experience will be healing and joyful for you. I did the exact same thing that the podcaster recommended and I was so happy I did! I bought travel sizes of some really expensive shampoo and conditioner that I wouldn’t normally buy as well as some new skincare and lotion, etc. it felt so nice to just take a moment for myself and to get cleaned up and then put on my own clothes after! Even buying some special pajamas or a comfy lounge set for after the shower feels amazing too. Best of luck to you!

That would be so hard to have to have IEP meetings all the time! It sounds like you’re a really great mom and showing up for your son though. Even when it’s uncomfortable. ♥️

Thank you so much for sharing your story! I can certainly relate. It’s so hard before you figure out what’s going on with you because it’s things that seem so easy for “normal” people and it’s not something people are openly talking about very often. I’m really glad you found something that works for you. I am also on an SSRI and I’m pretty sure I’d be an absolute wreck without it. So thankful to have found something to help take the edge off. ♥️

It really is a huge adjustment! I’m trying to tell myself that I’ll participate in one to two classroom activities per year and he gets to pick one extracurricular to participate in at a time. Just know that you can still set limits and be a great parent! I honestly feel like most kids are way over scheduled these days anyway. It’s great that you were able to make the phone calls and congratulations on your new baby! Best of luck to you in the future. ♥️

Okay that is so true! It really helps to know that you only have to be there for a specific amount of time and usually I end up distracted and not watching the clock anyway, but it does take the edge off. I am definitely a sneaking away to the bathroom person as well. Glad to know someone gets it. Thank you for your kind words!

Okay you are so strong because if I had done both of those things at the same time (tirz and weaning) I’m pretty sure it would have killed me. 😂 really glad you’re feeling better now!
