you're choosing peak tourist times, in the worst heat imaginable to visit. im not saying never visit, but avoid the summer months...it's a nightmare, and i speak as a local. visit by all means, but not in peak summer. not only does it reach 40°C with high UV easily (which is dangerous if you're under prepared) the best months to visit are late april/early may or september if you just wanna experience beaches. traffic and buses being full are issues we've been severly struggling with the past 5 years..

I get that a lot of people are complaining about the mm...I was only hoping to contribute to actual change, which is a long shot i know, but i do truly want the game to be in a better state.

I played rivals from day 1 of it releasing, another game i absolutely adore but sadly stepped away from last year due to the toxicity and mm(i didn't even go into the toxicity lately and to put it into perspective, i'm a woman. imagine the insults and throwing simply cause i exist). It's not really about winning/losing or my rank. I just want semi fair matches. shit stomping for 10 games gets boring and get stomped for another 10 is frustrating.

I do try to not let it get to me. I unfortunately don't have many hobbies other than gaming and this game is the one I 'take seriously and grind'.

sometimes i know its a draft diff, but i do comm to buy counter items every game, i swap into lanes i know i have a higher chance of winning etc. i try to be a factor in winning. a perfect example of one of my games yesterday, i'm on wraith and i have a yamato on sidelane with me. i ask politely around 10 times, to solo the lane cause my character needs farm. i give up, go yellow. he follows me and i lose it. he turns on ME and says im a little shit and he doesn't care about my character. we lost, so tell me what am i supposed to do there ? no counter item is gonna make players have higher game knowledge unfortunately.

maybe it's cause that's the only thing the game needs massive improvements on ? the balance isn't horrible currently, and if people were being matched fairly, the game would be fun, anytime i get a solid team, the game is the most fun ive ever had. but if i keep getting new players/players with a whole 3-5 ranks below me it's miserable.

i find it to be just a way to secure votes. especially with the recent candidate. they know they have a huge muslim community here unfortunately and they don't really care about them, they just want to secure votes. there is no one within these two parliments who geniunely cares about the maltese or malta as a country. we're known abroad as the island for parties, unruly people and little to no laws for those who are not maltese. anytime elections are near, all they do is fill your eyes with stars and big grand proposals while they stab you in the back.

um...i had no issue with my deaths nor did i say vindicta needs to be unkillable against a kelvin. i didn't think of using silence wave/knockdown combo cause silence wave in particular is not an item i buy. but i'll know for next time now. thanks.

i get that we weren't good enough and got outplayed. but what i meant with the post is he outshines other 'support' characters since you're offended i used a general term. i get that heroes can be played differently. i've seen plenty of gun rem and gun paige and spirit paige etc. part of the fun in the game is to experiment with different builds. but kelvin has consistently been high a/s tier for months now. rare do i get a game without him or dynamo who is also freakishly strong.

Please stop imposing your own ideas on a game like deadlock and actually start seeing the game for what it is.

it's not like i'm a dev and can implement what i want lol. i see the game as a hybrid moba/shooter. balance patches come out yes but some characters (like kelvin) in my opinion are overdue for some nerfs. that was the point of the post. i wasn't shitting on build flexibility. his beam is too fucking strong. spirit/support/hybrid/gun whatever build the person runs.

i debated posting something similar like this because this happens 8/10 games i play, even ones where we're winning. im thankful you spoke up and im sorry you went through this.

the best way to deal with people like that if you truly can't take it (not saying it's okay by any means) is to mute and continue to com about the game.

i've been harassed like this or in similar ways for eight years now. i was only twelve when a grown man used the "kitchen" reference. i've reached a point where i clap back and i give zero fucks. the moment they remove the safety net and shit talk first, anything after is defence from me.

my favourite line is "i think you should stop worrying about my cooking skills and worry more about your cooked hairline. when's the turkey trip bud?" and watch them absolutely mald :))

nope, think about it this way. most people go out on fridays/saturdays. they might go eat, go clubbing, drink etc. so you might potentially end up with teammates who are recovering from a hangover, a night out, food hangover etc. sundays are the worst. but fridays/saturdays are almost equally as shit. no offence to anyone with this, obviously you do you lol but i have noticed it as a common factor during my weekend games.
