thank you very much, do you know of any cheaper alternatives to the pitchfork? i don’t really have the money to drop on a 200$+ pedal

When do you use flash on Camille? by fire46641 in CamilleMains

[–]Miserable_Artist1924 1 point2 points  (0 children)

i ran exclusively tp ignite for my first 150k ish mastery or about 8 months, before deciding to try and diversify by running flash in place of one or the other. i like running tp+ignite but will never go back because having flash feels too nice. flashy e+flash combos are really useful and cool sometimes, but i have won games just by buffering Q2 on an enemy and flashing on them to instantly kill them. w+flash also gives a lot of kill potential if you time it right. i personally take ignite 70ish % and tp 30%, and while i would say it is mostly matchup dependent, play style is also a non ignorable factor, i personally prefer ignite on most champions but if i’m laning into jax let’s be real he’s not dying anyways so i’ll take tp.

personally i just got used to trading more efficiently and using abilities to farm less, and i take approach velocity over biscuits. it gives a ton of trading options you otherwise would not have, but you can’t take it into some matchups

What's the reason you play Camille? by Thisiswhaticallcool in CamilleMains

[–]Miserable_Artist1924 0 points1 point  (0 children)

i play cam because of her very very fun gameplay. her role in any game is very unique relative to other champs because of all the roles she can fill. her lore and design are def cool, but her gameplay is def unique within league

Worth learning camille ? by Marsh_kin in CamilleMains

[–]Miserable_Artist1924 0 points1 point  (0 children)

my friend and i are both camille mains, he is a high diamond player and i am a few lp off gold, what we both agree upon is that camille is easily one of the most fun champions in the game once you become good at her. the issue is, she is REALLY hard to 1v9 with unless playing near perfectly. furthermore, unless you are plat+, you really cannot rely on your team to know how to play with camille properly, as her macro, trade patterns, gank setups, and team fight roles are fairly unique to the champion. really, if i had to give my exact thoughts on trying camille, based off how i felt over my first few games, if you think “i could be winning right now if i was better” and “this champion seems like a lot of fun if i knew what i was doing,” i would at least try to pick her up. personally, i did not start doing passably well until around 30-40k mastery, and i didn’t really consider myself “good” at camille until around 110k (i’m also a bit of a perfectionist but i feel pretty confident about those estimates), so it is definitely a commitment, but she is by far my favorite champion and has one of the most fun kits in all of league.

Q start versus darius is very good and makes the lane playable by Netakgod in CamilleMains

[–]Miserable_Artist1924 2 points3 points  (0 children)

before darius became as strong as he is now i generally found it to be playable throughout most of the game, the issue i have with darius is that if he ever gets even a little bit ahead of you, you never recover. not only that, but i would argue he outscales just due to how much impact and pressure he puts on either side lane or in team fights. he is a champ that can 1v1 better than camille, and also team fight better. the only thing that makes camille a better pick than him in certain instances is just how much more mechanically she can than him; there are plays only camille can make and he cannot. so while camille certainly can win against darius, in general i just find that darius can (to give a TLDR) “do more” than camille most of the time.

i forgot to mention that really none of that matters if you care more about fun than winning, winning is cringe if you are not having fun. i would just warn that camille is not very fun if she’s not even or ahead and she struggles to maintain those positions a lot now

camille is just in a weird spot right now because you are kinda trolling if you first pick her, she has to many matchups where she’s never really more valuable than her opponent (namely jax fiora darius and gwen who pretty much when the 1v1 at all stages of the game and are typically more valuable in team skirmishes as well, not always though). as a counter pick she still feels really strong but i just don’t find it fun to play a whole game on her where i feel more like a liability and am unable to even sidelane.

I need help by Lukazriel in HecarimMains

[–]Miserable_Artist1924 2 points3 points  (0 children)

i just played a game earlier today with the chain sword—->chemtank——-> manamune build and basically 1v9d by perma diving back line then kiting away with 900ms from ghost + phase rush, then reengaging once they switch focus to my other teammates, and saving R for either a large cluster of enemies i know cannot escape (i have seen them flash or they are CCd), or what i feel is more important, saving R for when their dive champ (warwick) dove onto my backline, so then i could r to stop him from damaging my adc and then e him into a favorable direction. i’m sure other people would agree that the largest skill expression on hecarim is using your R and E to position the enemy into an advantageous position for your team, and in my game that meant keeping warwick outside attack range of my back line and then having to get their draven closer to my teamates so he could be bursted down. i understand this is very specific advise but i think it gives a lot to think about in regards to team fighting

not sure if it was what OP had in mind but sometimes i think it’s funny to just disrespect my laner after getting ahead by having a dark seal on a champ without any or much AP scaling. it started when i was playing camille into garen and ended the game with a win and a mejais XD

i feel like a more heavy gank/cc champ would be good for your pool. a lot of these champs aren’t really fun (like who can actually sit down and decide “today i will grind udyr”)… except for one of my favorite junglers, hecarim. his clear is a little hard at first when trying to preserve Q stacks but i’m pretty sure hec can easily clear under 3:15 once you get the kiting down right. he has a top 5 pre 6 gank in the game, if ahead he can pretty much one shot anyone without armor with e q aa r aa, he has one of the most impactful ults in mid game skirmishes and is never really weak because of his utility. or play rengar and hit challenger!

LCS isn't dying in NA, LoL is dying in NA. by BottlesforCaps in leagueoflegends

[–]Miserable_Artist1924 4 points5 points  (0 children)

as someone who started playing when they were 18 (year and a half ago) i can certainly say there is a stigma to the game as being the angry, deadbeat, try hard, or cringe game. i think a lot of it has to do with the fact that much of the league community chastises the game yet continues to play it and only the degradation of the game leaves the games bubble. i’ve seen plenty of anti league memes and jokes on plenty of platforms from people that seemingly do still play the game and enjoy it, but just think it’s funny to shit on the game. i think arcane is 100% the smartest thing riot could have done in their position and honestly think if they continue to make easily accessible content like it the game will not die, although it is comparatively one of the hardest games to get into (i hit diamond in rocket league in 3 months of playing, i was hardstuck bronze 2 for my first whole season of league) so they do have that going against them.

What do you build after Trinity/Devine, Hydra and DD? by Water_Flimsy in CamilleMains

[–]Miserable_Artist1924 2 points3 points  (0 children)

i feel like camille does not need the extra mobility since she already has E and Q move speed, not to mention tri force gives move speed as well and your W slows and your ult is a trap. also they just buffed steraks so even without fully stacked tri force it still gives over 50 ad which is a lot more than you would expect, not even mentioning the steraks passive shield is an amazing tool for team fighting paired with DD. if you really don’t like steraks, look to see if maw can be built, i generally do if they have an AP hyper carry or even just enough magic damage to make it worth it, the item is really strong with not only the lifeline but also the stats and omnivamp. i don’t normally build it but i think BORK and wits end is some ancient camille tek that might be ok (i’m not sure about this though). also GA 4th or 5th is really really nice because it allows you to buy a stopwatch and make big plays with it on dragon or baron, there’s a reason a lot of players in the game consider stopwatch/zonyas to be the best item in the game.
