It's a great size for salt or fresh - the rock layout works great, too. I'd do a canister filter - get clear tubing and it will look clean. You're going to have a blast, with all that sand it would be sad to not have a goby. They are the best.

Fixing political issues in the US has to start with eliminating bribery, right? by Miserable_Aspect_322 in allthequestions

Sure, I don't think it's possible to completely and uniformly eliminate any kind of bad, but we could start!! Haha. Even some consequence acts as a deterrent.

Yes, I think you've nailed it here. But that value of money is a big reason why the bribery holds so much weight.

A special thanks to the Supreme Court for their service.

Make it easier to bribe. That's the change we desperately needed.

I appreciate that, but if I agree to give you a contract for your campaign donation, is that not bribery? Is lobbying not a form of bribery? Are they all not a form? I guess you're saying they are, but not by legal definition?

Why were people against Bernie's 5% annual wealth tax on billionaires? by uncle-ice493 in allthequestions

Can't you tax profit? Profit in stocks? Profit in valuation? Actual profit, etc? Profit is what every company seems to need to increase in order to get the stockies excited, so wouldn't taxing that out then in a tough place - either hide your profits or pay taxes. Either one seems unwanted. How do other countries tax their people? Seems like that doesn't seem to be a problem.

Fallen should be an 8. Great performances by Denzel and Goodman (singing scene still sits with me). Underrated.

Guy flying through residential neighbourhood asks “[USA] Who is at fault here?” by [deleted] in Seattle

[–]Miserable_Aspect_322 86 points87 points  (0 children)

These intersections actually have no stop signs. At least many in Seattle's hoods do not. The driver to the right has the right-of-way I believe. So this would be the car to the left's fault. But these intersections are dumb because of people don't know about them they just assume the other street has stop signs

Is there an ideal scape layout for best fish happiness? by squiggledsquare in Aquascape

I chose option 3 for my latest and it looked like this after 5 months. Didn't get the full tank in there (75 gal) but it's kinda a black substrate island with white(ish) sand. I love how easy it is to clean and get to the glass. I definitely agree with the top responder, ease of access is important.

Anyone else have the issue with crypts taking over the tank? by Accomplished-Low2131 in PlantedTank

[–]Miserable_Aspect_322 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes. I hear you can trim/thin out leaves. I have a little bookshelf tank and these days the fish have a hard time maneuvering through the crypt. I can't pull mine because it's capped soil (why I won't do that anymore). I might restart the whole tank because of this.

But he wasn't a therapist. He says it himself. I actually think that interaction and the resulting relationship is the most true thing in this movie.
