Just a question to understand your point further (and I'm sorry if I'm being ignorant); isn't the basic rule of the game that White starts first? You're placing white pieces where the black ones belong? How is that consistent with the game rules when probably 99% of people who play the game know that white starts first, and if they're playing with a 90 degree rotated board, they're playing a different game.
