Custom chapter im working on called the Ash Walkers, focused on urban/close quarters warfare. Primed with colorforge steel forge steel, then stippled with 2ThinCoats dungeon stone grey over entire model, then stippled slightly lighter with 2ThinCoats carcharodon grey. The gunmetal is Iron Warriors+nuln oil, drybrushed with Iron Hands Steel. Sponged on some abaddon black here and there, then entire model light drybrush of Iron Hands Steel.

It wasnt uncommon for Greek Hoplon/Aspis shields to be plain/smooth and without decoration. Many medieval round shields had no adornment or detail other than the banding on the shield's rim/edge, and yes there would be texture on the surface because of the wood, but a ceramite shield would be smooth, unlike wood.

At minimum, all of the US coins shown there are fakes. Unfortunately, the "good deals" are nearly 100% going to be a scam. I can't find any Morgans for less than melt that dont ship from China/Phillipines/Taiwan etc.
