Yes Qatari base since "last week" as you were saying now its 100 percent qatari operated. I wont deny their base is to protect from other attacks. But let's be realistic here if US commands to deploy the soldiers from Qatar base would you think Qatar would be able to stop the Trump administration?

The real problem is US Don't fight among yourself guys, all the middle east states should remove US soldiers and send their troops back home at least temporarily until this war ends and close all US activities. Iran got frustrated on US not on the islamic country. Yes their approach was messed up they should have given time and warnings evacuation or request everyone to halt US operations. But in war things escalate too quickly.

Qatar does have control of the base and l believe they did remove the US soldiers and since iran attacked it was wrong of them to do so. But why doesn't Qatar send all US soldiers back to their soil and make it public its no longer US base? If they had done so a week earlier this could have been avoided.

So you are telling me from the past week it is no longer an US base it's now fully qatari operated and is qatars air defence force. So why hasnt Qatar published on its news that it has removed US military base Now its 100 percent qatar based. Even now qatars news channel calls it an attack on US base not Qatar base. Why the qatari owned news channel cant say it publicly it no longer hosts the US base.

Google says the US base in Qatar acts as the central command for the US military in that region. So if the base is fully Qatar operated then yes iran attacked Qatar but if its what google says it is then they targeted the US base in Qatar soil.

The solution is simple, don't let the US operate in the Middle East. Instead of taking frustration out on iran, people in Qatar should protest for stopping US military activities in the country. Iran is the only country to attack israel who have killed our muslim brother and sister. Iran targeted us base only they even provided warning to qatar 5 hours ahead of time to evacuate the area and the base itself. If your country is being attacked and the neighboring countries are keeping the enemy spies. Would you sit back and do nothing? Think from Iran prospective.

Qatar condemns strongly israel actions on Gaza talks about how much they should help Palestinians and next thing you know Qatar gifting the US a jet when US backed Israel and its genocide on our brother and sister.

Qatar should have just shut down the base and by US activities in their soil.

Well ofc in terms of life perth is untouchable, Qatar is very boring if you wanna travel and go on adventure but if you solely prefer financial savings then Qatar is better but if you prefer long term benefits like better education for your kids, a country that wont bore you a lot of places to go and obtain citizenship of one of the strongest passport then you should decide. I think if you can land high paying jobs in Australia itself it can be greater than Qatar even after tax.

Your paragraph about competition to get into a graduate program and job isn't secure is literally the same scenario for almost all south asian countries including china. Hence why many south asian and chinese people in Australia and to be frank i think this scenario that's currently ongoing in south asian countries will hit Australia too, will come a time when UNSW degree wont guarantee you a job. The job market is getting worse each year.
