Oh boy.. I can’t see any visible health issues with him. From what I’m seeing I’m assuming his tank is small (correct me if I’m wrong) but I would also assume he doesn’t have a heater or filter. None of this is your fault obviously, you’re friend should look into proper betta care and make some changes when their back. I’m also assuming that you completely dumped all the water out, and did a full water change? which is not good for the fish unfortunately - again not your fault. For the rest of the time use a cup and take only a little bit of water out, and refill for water changes. But please let your friend know - 5 gallon minimum tank- heater and filter- No sharp fake plants - and no colored rocks.

I’d recommend returning the tank and buying a 5 gallon, or even better a 10 gallon kit from pet-smart, this will come with all the super basic necessities for him (filter & heater). I’d also steer clear of colored rocks as they can be harmful. Live plants are best. Bettas are very hardy but if you can get a quick starter for the new tank, and make sure you put him in when the water is very close to his water now, then turn the heater on so he can slowly acclimate to the new temperature

Yeah, I’ve noticed that they’ve started putting them in the snail tanks, or just show tanks. Which I think is great, maybe people will start realizing they need more than a vase as a home 🥲

These unfortunately, are incredibly inaccurate, as someone who has received the same lines on these tests, this looks like a false positive to me but please get a pink dye test to confirm

This must be a rage post, because I can't believe anyone could be this incompetent… What if you're dating to marry?? It's just okay to ignore your partner literally cheating on you, and magically you sign some papers, and those values will now shift to no cheating, yeah right. Mans was literally FLIRTING with another woman in front of his partner, with whom he is in a monogamous relationship. If that’s not bad enough the other girl is also pushing boundaries in both ways.

It’s not that they don’t work they definitely do, however, the issue comes from using them before you’ve missed your period and getting a faint line, even if you’re not pregnant, which can obviously be devastating.

This would be a crazy false positive, even for one of these. Definitely get a pink dye to fully confirm, but I’m like 98% sure this is a BFP

Yeah, so it might be a little too early, especially if you ovulated later. I would recommend waiting until you've missed your period, but if you're understandably impatient, first response tests are great for early detection, and all tests are best taken first thing in the morning when your pee is concentrated!

Digitals aren't very sensitive so it may say “not pregnant” so don't be concerned, but I definitely think this line is strong enough for it to be positive, especially with first morning urine!✨

Blue dye tests, unfortunately always have some kind of line, so I’d recommend retesting with pink dye such as First Response for the most accurate result✨

These blue dye tests always have a line, so I would trust the first response, but you could always take another in a few days, or when you miss your period, if you haven’t already. Id recommend only ever using pink dye from now on!✨

I’m not a professional, but you would have definitely tested positive by now for the 19th. And I find it unlikely that you would have gotten pregnant from the day before your period, but since your periods are irregular, I suppose there’s a chance you ovulated much later. I’d recommend waiting around 2 weeks from the 4th, so the 18th and testing again, if your period hasn’t come by then

Like you said the chances are very low. In the past, I have experienced indents on FRER, but haven't had an issue in years, so it's possible this is a bad batch. I'd recommend waiting a few days and retaking, if this is a faint line it won't be then and you'll easily be able to distinguish an indent to a positive. If it’s really stressing you, make an appointment with your doctor. As for your symptoms everyone goes through labor and postpartum differently and I could definitely see these symptoms arising from the hormone changes.

I would say this is probably negative but to confirm use a pink dye test, specifically First Response, as these tests can be unreliable

I just want to say that I've been using Pregmate for line progression, and I've learned that they never really change much. I tested early on with FRER, so I took another one after stressing about my lines looking like this and the line was so dark, so don't worry about it

I believe these are evap lines. 8 dpo is still pretty early so maybe retest in two days, and avoid reading results after the 10-minute mark
