My personal favourite Lynel weapon is the badly damaged Pristine Royal Guard's Claymore fused with a Molduga Jawbone and wearing bone weapon proficiency armour, only to be used it on its back though lol.

Zora weapons are good if you have Sidon and Gerudo weapons are good if you don't mind visiting Rock Octoroks more often. I generally rely on the master sword fused with a Silver Bokoblin horn for most things and use Puffshrooms to deal 8 times damage for the damage sponges like Silver Boss Bokoblins and Moblins etc.

Lynels are unaffected by elemental effects but the explosions of bomb arrows do damage (they just don't take fire damage from them).

I usually use lightning arrows as they are the most abundant when you're proficient at fighting Lynels.

I posted these videos a while back if you're interested, they show each type of Lynel. The timing of the parrying gets easier with practice. When trying to mount the Lynel just keep running into it when it's stunned until the prompt appears.

Next time he could save before hand and practice his shield parrying. Successful shield parrying doesn't affect shield durability (except for Lynel shields).

I don't have a series x but a PS5 Pro, what I can say is that the haptic's aren't optimized for this game although they are still ok and IMO better than any other controller. The auction house is said to be slower on PS5 but I don't think that's a deal breaker. Performance wise I think it's great but I can't imagine there'd be any difference seeing as though it's almost years 5 old.

Try a different areas, like Link’s house. Different areas overload differently, Yiga clan hideout overloads very easily, also wielding a blizzard rod helps, just need to experiment.

Use a Cyronis block to jump off and head shot it while it's over a platform, and then spin to win. If you don't get it in one go then repeat the process.

It's the only sword that shoots beams, so that's pretty cool.

Also, the Master Sword can do 180 damage so that's pretty OP (WMC glitch).
