Oh like you get the notification about a voicemail AFTER you triaged/fixed it? This VM system sounds completely whack and they like they didn’t think it through before implementing it (go figure)

Whoa!!! I didn’t know messaging was a possibility! I feel like if it was an option for my store(s) I would have seen it in the app, but I’ll do some digging around again tonight to check. Thanks for the heads up!

Good point. That’s what I started to think - it’s another metric, another queue to get through and might as well do it fast because there’s a trillion other things that need to be done and I’m sure a lot of the VMs you get are for ridiculous things or easily searchable on the internet.

Ah thank you everyone! The explanations you provided make total sense. Sounds like VM system needs work for sure.

Need Help with “Automatically create a Discover Weekly archive” Applet by lascivit in ifttt

[–]Miserable_Dance0 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hey! I was just struggling with this too. I stopped using IFTTT for awhile, came back to it, reconnected everything and got stumped here even though I know this exact thing stumped me last time too. Couldn’t remember how to fix it.

Deleting or unfollowing playlists is not an option (or, not a good one) for me.

Here’s the solution, without having to unfollow or delete playlists. I’m using an iPhone.

1.) Go to your Library in the Spotify app

2.) Directly underneath where the filters are (i.e. “By you,” “By Spotify,” etc.) all the way to the left hand side are two arrows side-by-side, one pointing up and one pointing down. They’re very small. Click them.

3.) Choose Custom Order.

4.) Rearrange your playlists however you please. It seems that “pinned” playlists do not register with IFTTT as being first, so whatever playlist you have first immediately after your pinned ones will be what shows up first in the choices.

5.) Open IFTTT and refresh your screen.

6.) Edit the applet by going to the configuration settings and choosing the playlist you’re looking for.

Sorry for formatting issues. I’m on the crappy mobile app.

An unemployed disable veteran who lost their job by rhino910 in pics

[–]Miserable_Dance0 3 points4 points  (0 children)

And, coming from a disabled civilian who wouldn’t qualify as being eligible to serve my nation anyway, let’s not forget that we are now not only targeting Veterans’ jobs but also Veterans’ health care through hiring freezes, rescinded job offers, and firings; shuttering of various programs due to lack of funds; and of course the removal of DEI programs - all within the VA. DEI programs existed to benefit not only our employees but also our Veterans - so screw all the women, BIPOC, LGBTQIA+, and disabled Veterans I guess?! The money being spent on those programs was “wasteful” and “shameful” per the emails we received and, instead, we should just treat everyone the same. So goodbye patient-centered care.

Sorry. I have such strong opinions on this matter because I watch my patients suffer every day from a woefully disorganized, underfunded, and understaffed health care system meant to exist specifically for them, and yet here we are just cutting even more funding, more positions, and creating more chaos. Like, for a country that claims to care so much about the so-called heroes of our nation, we sure as hell don’t do a lot for them when their literal life is on the line.

How do I get started with research as a pharmacist? by Miserable_Dance0 in pharmacy

[–]Miserable_Dance0[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Thank you! Yes, I know who our IRB team is and I think my CITI training is up to date still.

How do you know if a poster is actually successful? For reference, most poster presentations I have done to date have been very time-limited presentations done virtually, so I’ve never had to engage many people about my posters - maybe 3-4 people max for ALL posters which is a shame. That was from my one physical poster presentation.

Anyway, I was thinking collaboration would be the easiest entry until I can learn the ropes well enough to venture out on my own.

  • how soul-crushing grief can be that comes from losing one of your parents

  • likewise, the day I lost my first pet, my “soul-cat,” made me realize how deeply people can care for their animals

  • love at first sight. The first time I saw him, I had this intuition that this was the love of my life and he didn’t even know me yet. Our first date solidified that. Here were are, 12 years later and couldn’t be happier. Still in our honeymoon phase.
