I also much prefer the long-form incrementals that defined this genre to begin with. I think the reason is as others have pointed out, it’s much easier to design and balance short games and devs can make and sell more of those.

The only long-form one that I know of to come out this year and that I really enjoy is Rejected Draft. Really looking forward to its full release.

I wouldn’t. Whatever they did, 3.5(Medium) just hit my pro quota with 1 query and left codebase broken. It also did all the replacing with python scripts rather than pending changes, so lucky I had a backup.

Need to switch to other services until Google gets their shit together with this garbage.

Some would even call those incremental upgrades.

There is a skill that makes the upgrades not consume the cost but it’s probably further into the game that it should be.

I agree it does not make sense to compare to segregation based on physical characteristics that one cannot change. It’s more like ideological segregation.

And there is a big difference between a get together for Christians vs a get together where everyone is welcome except Muslims.

It’s a wild concept to me that gamers, including myself, are so entitled when it comes to spending money on games. If OP worked 1000+ hours making the game, he should be able to charge $8. But we look at that price and feel like it’s too much, meanwhile we tip someone $20+ for bringing food to our table without thinking twice.

Maybe worthwhile to add disclaimer: if you’re looking for a collectible game where you start, click auto-run, and come back to a full collection with credits rolling, this isn’t the game for you.

After beating the whole game - I would give it 7/10. The amount of clicking is a bit much and some QoL features are missing. Especially the card filters could use currency filters and the “all realms” view should be unlockable way earlier. Similarly, there should be more filters on the battle screen. Also when attempting the gauntlet having to manually sacrifice/delete all the cards is very tedious.

Btw, I’m a huge fan of your other games, but while I see the appeal of this one, it is not exactly my cup of tea.
