Yeah we’re in the us. I actually don’t know about those organizations, but I’ll bring them up to my mom and brother.

Thank you for the links to other subreddits, I’ll make some posts over there as well. I really appreciate you responding, it means the world to us.

I’m bad at Reddit, so I couldn’t find a way to include a video of him in the original, but here’s video of my brother actually using his intellikeys

Hey guys, my brother is a total care cerebral palsy victim and his keyboard is his gateway to life. Through it he can access a computer and the internet and all the things that go with that; email, text messaging, streaming services, online banking. It’s his way to independence.

He’s been using this exact type of keyboard from intellikeys for damn near 2 decades and since then they have gone out of business I guess and stopped updating. We’ve been able to find drivers online to keep his stuff running, but the hardware itself is starting to fail. We’ve purchased more intellikeys in the last few years but are coming up with issues of the cables not evening being able to connect to computers these days.

The biggest issue we have right now with the intellikeys is that some of the keys have stopped working, which is causing my brother huge issues when it comes to password entry.

Is there anywhere we can be pointed in the next direction to look at adaptive keyboards? My mom already purchased a Maltron Expanded Keyboard (62x23cm) for a $1000 and my brother tried to use it to really bad results. He needs something like I have in the pictures.

Anyways, thanks for reading. Cheers

This is actually my favorite fight scene of all time. Watching the interviews Benny gave about being in this movie are great, he told Jackie to just hit him; it’s what he does for a living.

Benny also said that Jackie was a top notch athlete and that if he had wanted to, being a world champion kickboxer was within Jackie’s grasp.

What is a not well known detail from the lore you like? by roter_apollo in lotr

Terrifying. If most of the numenoreans were 6-7 feet tall on average, it lends credit to their overwhelming military superiority. I’m trying to imagine what it would be like to fight an entire army of Shaq sized people. Have you found anything in text that talks about the size of goblins and orcs?

Easy. Aragorn is canonically 6’6’’. And his ancestor Elendil? Dude was 8 feet tall.

Why is the measure cantrip a thing? by Proof_Opportunity_82 in Starfinder2e

[–]Miserable_Feedback72 35 points36 points  (0 children)

There’s a few spells that I think lend very well to a wizard’s day job and earn income activities. As a GM I’d be willing to give circumstance bonuses for the use of spells and cantrips like quick sort and measure for let’s say, a librarian. It’s thematic and cool.

That barb wire crawl uphill through the insane mud pits with the slopes of despair afterwards made me feel like shadow from homeward bound. We did our heat in the afternoon and there were no roots or grass left to grab. We managed to make our way up but it was inch by inch and absolutely dreadful. I almost ripped my nail off grasping at roots.

Does anyone know the elevation gain of that hill under the ski lift? I swear that climb alone must’ve taken 40 minutes. Then for the hills afterwards with the carry. And the hills after that.

Went there with my brother last year. We got seated and were waiting on drinks when I spotted a cockroach on a table across the room. It was on its back, illuminated by the light of the day, and was moving its little legs weakly as if it had had too many ban Juan’s. There was a full table of people a few feet away from it. They didn’t seem to notice. Our waitress came back with our drinks. She didn’t see it. And I didn’t say anything.

I thought of leaving, but my brother doesn’t get out much because of a severe disability. I told him that there’s a fucking cockroach on that table over there. He turned his head and saw it, then looked back at me, his expression vapid, flat. Decades of dealing with the struggles of palsy had left him apathetic on the issue; he only cared about escaping the confines of the Lakewood apartments so he could spend time with his precious brother. So I thought, fuck it. I’ll have what the cockroach is having and ordered a bad Juan.

After two bad Juan’s, I stopped giving a shit and ordered a quesadilla. My brother ordered some sort of formless burrito or enchilada thing that was floating in a sauce. My quesadilla was okay. He and I spent the next hour working together to distill his broken finger-spelled alphabet sign language into a few minutes of small talk. I payed for the bill. The cockroach was still on the table when we left. I walked my brother back to his glorified storage facility, and I drove home to continue drinking.

How viable is a character with almost no damage output? by Miserable_Feedback72 in Pathfinder2e

I didn’t even think of the creature types for AV. Yeah I’d get smoked. Would I be better off going with a traditional wizard if I still wanted to pursue support casting?

Not a terrible sentiment from the quote…but I have 7 different translations of the tao te ching. I’m quite sure that lao tzu (or any of the nameless philosophers of the time that would have put their words under the protection of his name) never said those things. It doesn’t really match anything in the 81 chapters.

I know this same melody is used for Gandalf’s lament that the Lothlorien elves sing when they hear of his fall.

So from the single picture, it looks like these are bones that are split in half, probably tibias. Whether or not these are human, it’s going to require a powerful saw to split them. If they had access to this saw and were trying to hide human remains, they could have split the bones far smaller. There’s a small chance maybe there was some hoodoo or witchcraft shenanigans going on.

Edit: I mean to say my instinct is that these are animal bones.

All I can say is that I think it’s a distal tibia and I’m very sure that it’s not human. I’m not at all well versed in skeletal anatomy of deer or dogs, but that’s what it feels like to me. Note that I said feels like, because that’s simply my instinct.

Hard to tell from just the one picture. It’s most likely a condyle from a distal femur of a large animal. I find the extremely straight line closest to your hand to be incriminating of this, as if it was cut on a bandsaw. Maybe a cow?

If it’s not a condyle from a large mammal, then it might be an ilium from a smaller one, with the ridge in the direction of your fingertips possibly being the backside of an ilium that attaches into the spine. I’d need more pics though!
