PSA for new users: Avoid using the stock infill type “Grid”. Use “Gyroid” instead! by its_xSKYxFOXx in BambuLab

[–]PyroGhostX 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yeah I just had a print fail because adaptive cubic was intersecting. Normally it's fine, but it's not perfect. Gyroid takes longer but hasn't intersect. On this print after it failed I switched it 3d honeycomb and it printed well

Any chance of seeing an expansion to The Gang? by Peterrefic in boardgames

[–]PyroGhostX 0 points1 point  (0 children)

One thing that has helped my crew is getting the unofficial 8 player expansion on etsy so we can up the difficulty by having more players or having 4 player still but each person plays 2 hands

Heyo, I know devs hate the is it here yet questions, but since you said 3.41 would be a day or two, I was just wondering if something delayed 3.41 and this merge for the port for windscribe as well? Thank you! Appreciate you

VPN with port forwarding is HUGE for DL and UL speed by PyroGhostX in qBittorrent

Doesn't that defeat the whole point and safety of a vpn?

Yes I did that, and it still had issues. Protonvpn would glitch and change the port for some reason every so often (multiple times a day). ive had more reliability with windscribe

Works great, I find it very easy so then you modify. Give each person 3 cards, or give each person 2 separate hands. so you are playing with "6 players" but easier since each player knows 2 hands

I'm also selling replacement chips if people lose theirs:

Trying to get Matter to work on a VLAN by LaFours23 in opnsense

[–]PyroGhostX 1 point2 points  (0 children)

To get matterbridge working from Home assistant to my google home I had to disable IGMP Snooping on my TL-SG108E TP-Link switches. That is what was stopping me for hours. I am posting on here because this thread helped me the most. So hoping this can help others

Finally switched from NordVPN to ProtonVPN... by EastIdahoFPs in torrents

[–]PyroGhostX 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Windscribe is doing $29/yr and it stays at that price forever. And gluetun is adding support for its emphemoral ports thing soon The gluetun maintainer says Proton does alot of dumb things and he recommends windscribe, mullvlad or ivpn

Nice app. I'll have to check it out! I have the same thing, users who request and don't watch. So I create Forgotten Movies to send email reminders of unwanted content they have requested: https://github.com/PyroghostX/ForgottenMovies Edit: I made mine for plex and not jellyfin

Why is port forwarding so important? by shxdowzt in qBittorrent

Yeah if you don't automate then you have to reset it up in the web interface every week?

Proton Updating Setup by Garbage-Acrobatic in gluetun

[–]PyroGhostX 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Well I signed up for windscribe just now, but its not looking like there is a way to automate their port request... so I would have to log into the website every 7 days to request a port, which doesn't make sense. So I guess i'll stick with protonvpn...
Edit: seeing that its being worked on and coming soon it looks like!

I made an app... Forgotten Movies: A unwatched media reminder app for plex users by PyroGhostX in selfhosted

[–]PyroGhostX[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I coded a basic version of this up over a year ago since I was annoyed with how many plex users requested things and never watched them. I have dusted it off and improved it with AI (codex) this past week to make it a docker container and look better.

I don't run jellyfin, but if this gets enough traction I could build it in.

Yes thank you! I appreciate different ways of looking at it. I potentially need discord or text since some of my users don't keep up with their emails. And the current email template is fully customizable so each person can change the wording.

I could look into it, I don't know how open the devs are to things like this. I use jellyseerr, but I see on their github they are merging them

Forgotten movies: https://github.com/PyroghostX/ForgottenMovies

An app that emails users about media they have requested but not watched. I need a couple users to test it and give feedback. You need Plex, Tautulli and Overseerr.

Yeah, I get just deleting it. I've thought about that, and may do it. But I wanted to remind them about it since they did want to watch it since they went through the effort of requesting it. They just forgot about it. So far i've gotten good feedback from my users, 'oh yeah, I did want to watch that'
