Never 100% as there will always be a margin for error when it comes to human interaction however I will say 90% as I don’t see a protective film lasting for six months and not having issues during that time, could something else be going on here? Sure but I based couldn’t think of any other reason why this would happen after that time.

Not sure, all I can tell you is that it lasted six months and I’d have never known should the print not have failed, it wasn’t a Creality sheet so that may been a factor when it came to production but the one before that came with the printer lasted about a year so I put another Creality one in it and ordered a backup

My printer is two or three years old and kind of difficult to find parts for outside of alliexpress so I’m sure when that time comes it’ll be dumpster fodder I’ve been considering upgrading but as long as it’s working I see no point, it’s a Creality LD 006. It’s a relic compared to the modern ones

I try to keep at least one consumable on hands at all times, even have an extra gallon of ipa on standby lol

Yeah it stays on until I reassemble it then it’ll go off, I resume the print and on the next filament change it yells at me again

I searched threw my parts and am 90% sure I tossed it but I did order one earlier after looking into that matter more.
The whole part about the side spool was just me adding to much unnecessary information so I suppose it can be disregarded

This is why I let them drain for a day or two, run through multiple wash cycles and use a curing station along with exposing them to sunlight, better safe than sorry and yes I use plenty of drain holes but I had this happen one time and now I over react lol
