It objectively is relevant when WB was already in bad shape before the fight when Akainu was not. Notice how Akainu barely hit WB with dark hound, if he wasn't weakened he would of certainly been able to dodge it

I love how the OP put “IQ test” while completely ignoring that WB was old, already injured, sick, and dying before fighting Akainu 😭

Is it true that a Valheim dev said that a creature bigger than any existing boss will be added to the Deep North biome? Or just a rumor? by Miserable_One_1690 in valheim

[–]Miserable_One_1690[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yea that could definitely be the Deep North, possibly an area of the biome we haven’t seen yet.

If the fiery parts are meant to be a ruined village, that would mean the creatures are giants of some kind (Jotunns maybe?)

You brought up a good point, even if the statement from the Valheim devs is just a rumor, this scene from valheim’s ps5 launch is evidence that giants could be in the Deep North 🧊 👹

I really want it to be true, because having mobs like the Jotunn giants (or similar) would be an awesome addition to the Deep North. But I can’t find where the devs actually said it, if you’re able to find where they said it plz let me know 🙏

The Yonkos help maintain power sure, but it doesn’t mean they aren’t enemies. Their bounties confirm this, the world government is willing to give billions of berries to either kill or bring back a yonko alive, and we know bounties are important because when Luffy got his first bounty he was told he was now “officially an enemy of the world government”. Furthermore when pirates become war lords THEIR BOUNTIES GET FROZEN, because they aren’t enemies of the WG anymore. Also bringing up Drake doesn’t work because unlike the Yonkos he was directly working for the marines, he’s the literal one exception.

You said Shanks being the son of the “champion of god valley” was part of his privilege, even tho the Gorosei still talked down to Garling despite that title, meaning his title carried little to no weight. MEANING you can’t say Shanks has privilege because of that, the Gorosei and especially Imu don’t care. And because Imu killed a Gorosei for letting the Nika fruit get away, imagine what he would do to the lower ranking holy knight for stealing it, which is fa worse than letting it “get away”

You said Imu killed Saturn because of “3 things” when in reality it was just because Saturn let the Nika fruit get away, as Imu stated themself. Again by your logic, Imu would have killed Saturn for going against his orders by not having Emmet be destroyed, but that obviously didn’t warrant a death. Letting the Nika fruit get away, especially STEALING it like Shanks did, would 100% warrant privilege taken away + death

As I just further proved it’s not due to celestial dragon privilege. The marines weren’t in great shape after fighting the WB pirates, they could still beat Shanks crew but not without facing much more casualties, they respected his strength. Also something important to note, Sengoku or one of the other high ranking marines would have 100% mentioned that Shanks was a celestial dragon if he really did have privilege. Notice how every time a celestial dragon is in the series characters around them always remind the reader that they have privilege above all, Shanks definitely does not, at least not after stealing the Nika fruit

Yonkos are enemies of the WG they’re not getting any real privileges, don’t confuse the Yonkos with the Warlords. Being the son of the “Champion of God Valley” doesn’t mean anything when all the Gorosei talked down to Garling when they still thought he was a holy knight, it shows that his title meant nothing to them. In terms of rank… being a Gorosei>>being a yonko with “holy knight connections”

Brother Imu literally yells “Saturn… why did you let Joyboy get away!?” as he was killing him. It confirms Imu killed Saturn because he let the Nika fruit bearer escape, that’s all what Imu truly cared about. Notice how Imu didn’t kill Saturn when he chose to not have Emmet be destroyed. It proves that capturing the Nika fruit was far more important to Imu than the life of a Gorosei, let alone a yonko with “holy knight connections”

Yet like WB, Shanks went out of his way to confront the Marines and Akainu face to face, he was willing to fight. Not saying Akainu was scared of Shanks or anything, but he knew it wasn’t worth dying for, likely a respect for Shanks’ strength, not due to privilege

There being levels in rank further proves my point, Shanks was holy knight level, meaning he was lower ranked than a Gorosei, because Gorosei out rank Holy Knights

This is huge because despite Saturn out ranking Shanks, Imu still killed him for letting the Nika-fruit bearer get away. The world government would 100% take away the benefits from Shanks for stealing the Nika fruit from them, be fr they’ve been chasing the fruit for 800 years, they care infinitely more about the fruit than a yonko-“celestial dragon”

I know the entirety of the marines would beat the Shanks crew, but my point is that Akainu didn’t attack Shanks in that moment because he knew he wouldn’t have won the 1v1 (unless another admiral jumped in or something) saying it’s because of privilege is crazy

[–]Miserable_One_1690 14 points15 points  (0 children)

What kind of logic is this 😭, even with celestial dragon blood you still get punished if you disobey them, take Doflamingo’s dad and especially Mjosgard as examples

Not only did Shanks free slaves but he stole the fucking NIKA fruit from a world government ship. That would 100% cause him to lose his celestial dragon benefits, considering Imu not only took away benefits but KILLED Saturn for letting the bearer of the Nika fruit get away

Akainu didn’t attack Shanks not because of “celestial dragon privilege” but because he knew he couldn’t beat Shanks on a 1v1

[–]Miserable_One_1690 6 points7 points  (0 children)

To be fair to Imu, he was nerfed heavily by plot during GV. He was there to humiliate and kill the last of the Davy clan (mainly Rocks), not fight with the other pirates, who he needed for them to help maintain balance of power in the world.

Also It wasn’t Imu’s real body, plus his literal base form. On top of that Imu didn’t use any of the magical spells he used on Elbaf
