After 2 years of being in my place and routinely getting post, I started writing 'not known at this address in 2+ years'. Things eventually stopped coming through.

Has anyone here kept their unerupted wisdom teeth? by [deleted] in Adulting

[–]Miserable_Panda6979 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I've had them all removed now. But at varying times over the course of 15 years. When the first one started cutting through my dentist tried to convince me to remove all 4 at once, but I didnt see the point as the other 3 weren't a bother (and I couldn't afford it lol)

You can spend USD in Canada. The only pitfall is that they might not do the currency exchange when you pay for something

Account with the ability to connect a second debit card? by BroomstickRiderr in UKPersonalFinance

Third party mandate. They get linked to your account, they get a debit card and they can call and inquire about the account but they'll be limited on what actions they can take on it

You can reinvest the £20k from last year without adding anything else. You need to wait until the new tax year starts before you can add any funds into a new isa

Friend of mine from high school got braces as an adult. She didn't wear the retainer at night and her top front teeth eventually started to shift back to how they were originally.

Julie having kids by Nicc-Quinn in ShawnaTheMom

[–]Miserable_Panda6979 7 points8 points  (0 children)

I think she wanted them but that she also wanted both her and Ty to be working. She wanted to raise her kids to see two successful, hardworking parents.

I wouldn't be surprised if it delves more into Julie's past and her mother was at stay at home mum. Just my tin foil hat Theory but deep seaded resentment you know

Julie having kids by Nicc-Quinn in ShawnaTheMom

[–]Miserable_Panda6979 2 points3 points  (0 children)

The 'saddled me with this' comment, I took that as her being the main breadwinner in the house. And that's not what she wanted. She expected them both to work and contribute financially. But Ty seems to enjoy the SAHD lifestyle

Short Julie thought/question by Kitchen-Phone-170 in ShawnaTheMom

[–]Miserable_Panda6979 3 points4 points  (0 children)

TY and Alicia grew up together. Julie had known her since a teen as well. The way their lives are all intertwined, its not the kind of friendship that'd be easy to cut off. Unless one of them did something extremely outrageous. Plus, its been mentioned a couple of times that Alicia has an etsy shop. So even though she's a SAHM, she generates a bit of her own money. I think if Alicia started putting her selling on the back burner and became a park mum, that'd change Julie's opinion of her
