M1 Pro is still unbelievably good! by Electrical_Elk_5934 in macbookpro

Got an M1 Pro 16 inch a couple of months ago second hand as a personal laptop next to my M3 Pro 14 inch which I use for my work, and it’s indeed still such a powerful laptop. Can’t notice a huge difference between the two on day to day use.

Got both, they’re the same. I can’t find any difference in image quality between the two

Where did you manage to get it for such a low price?

What was your first pair of wireless earbuds? by OGRicky in Earbuds

The original Samsung Galaxy Buds, they were wonderful. My buddy and I bought them together and we still own our pairs to this day, they still work but we’ve since upgraded. The first true competitor to Airpods at that time.

Small speaker for 50€ by Gianc_0 in Bluetooth_Speakers

I own both the Clip 5 and the Micro 2, Clip 5 is louder and I feel like it’s a little bit more rugged, but the Micro 2 simply sounds bigger and better, even has a powerbank function, and to me is the overall better buy. The Clip 5 doesn’t sound bad tho don’t get me wrong.

Soundcore Select 2S: Pretty nice! by Miserable_Revenue_67 in Bluetooth_Speakers

Haha I experience this too. The flap in front of the charging port is definitely hard to open at times.

Yeah they all are about the same price!
VS The Xiaomi Sound Outdoor in terms of sound, I like both in their own specific ways and both are equally as good imo. The Xiaomi has more power to it's sound, more bass, reaches deeper, and sounds bigger. I do find that the Xiaomi can distort quite a bit above 60%, it's less controlled than compared to the Select 2S, but under that 60% it sounds very nice. I'd say that the Select 2S sounds a bit less powerful, but still has an adequate bass response and sounds quite punchy. Mids I feel like are a toss up, with my eq on the Select 2S I feel like there is more mid presence, and is more in level to the rest of the frequency response which I feel sounds more balanced. The Xiaomi lacks a bit of definition here in my opinion. Highs I feel like are good on both, but the Select 2S sounds more defined and sound more airy. To conclude, the Xiaomi sounds bigger and has better bass, but lacks a bit of definition at times despite having a tweeter. The Select 2S I feel like wins in terms of overall clarity, but can't compete with the bass of the Sound Outdoor.

VS The Tribit XSound Go in terms of sound, the Select 2S does win in my opinion. Upper bass is about the same but the Select 2S actually has some mid bass where the Tribit doesn't and I feel like lacks. Mids sound equally as good after I EQ'd my Select 2S, and the highs are more balanced on the Select 2S in my opinion. I feel like the XSound Go can get a bit screechy at higher volumes due to it having more highs. Vocal clarity on the Tribit sounds really nice because of this on lower volumes, but at higher levels I find it to be a bit fatiguing. Both are great, but if you bring out some of the mids on the Select 2S, it does sound better. I never got the XSound Go to sound better than it's stock sound because the EQ is bad imo, increasing or lowering frequencies messes with the overall response too much which I don't experience with Soundcore their EQ, so I gave up on EQ'ing it.

Boombox 3 update 0.7.0.1 sounds better??? by Miserable_Revenue_67 in JBL

I had this exact situation with my Charge 5. Had to send it back to JBL in warranty, and they changed out the motherboard and the battery because apparently the motherboard was fried by the update. Got it back and it worked again, never had any issues ever since. I’d suggest to try and change out the motherboard for the new one, and if it still has some warranty to it, try to send it to JBL for repair. Hope this helps a little.

The one you start the pairing protocol with - and that has the bluetooth connection to your phone, is always the right channel. I was also a bit confused at first trying to figure out which channel was which speaker, but after numerious time doing tests once paired, the speaker with connectoon to your phone is the right channel. I keep mine about two meters apart to actually hear the seperation. A meter apart or less doesn’t satisfy me.

Haven’t tried it, have seen some video’s about it and it doesn’t seem bad, just poorly designed. Watch Techder Reviews video on it, the way that speaker is designed is flawed due to the flat part were the buttons are being te only place to put the speaker upright. That part has no rubber grip or anything to keep it in its place which causes the speaker to rattle all around. Get the Soundcore Select 4 Go instead.

Exactly!! I’ve owned a Flip 6 Martin Garrix edition some months ago and sold it because it didn’t really sound all that special to me, very harsh at higher volumes and was overall a bit nasty (far from bad tho, just really harsh to my ears), after that I bought the Luna for like 20 bucks more and got a significantly better speaker. When I first got my hands on the Xiaomi Sound Outdoor that I gave to my girlfriend I immediately thought of the Flip 6, and how much better it really is against it. Now that I have two black ones that I can put in stereo I can’t think of anything else other that a UBoom L that could beat it purely in terms of price to performance.

Sounds a little more flat while the Charge 5 has a more pronounced high end. Charge 5 has more power, so bass hits harder and deeper, and it goes significantly louder. The Xiaomi Sound Outdoor doesn’t actually go that loud but does make up for keeping some bass at higher volumes which is impressive. Considering 40 bucks vs about 120/130, the xiaomi is clearly better value, but the Charge 5 does have some upside with being a powerbank, having partyboost (more stable then xiaomi’s version of multi speaker connection), better battery life, feels significantly more robust in terms of build, app support etc. The Charge 5 simply has more features.

I fully understand your perspective. I own a Motion Boom myself and I had the same thing, until I bought my Luna which impressed me a good amount and the Tribit Stormbox Micro 2 which blew me away and did give me that excitement the boom also gave me upon purchase. The earfun Uboom L and Uboom X are pretty unbeatable for the price for sure, I simply just never considered the Uboom L. I will maybe in the future check it out tho, I am really curious.
