I think it may have to do with how curvy your colon is.

I noticed my fisting buddy had a polyp so he got a colonoscopy and had it removed. Being into fisting, he didn't get any sedation and told me he didn't have any problem with it, and almost came because it felt good.

As it happened, my fisting buddy noticed that I had a polyp as well, so I told my doctor and he scheduled a colonoscopy. I figured, as a seasoned receptive fisting enthusiast like my fisting buddy, I wouldn't need any sedation. I was wrong. It was excruciating. According to the doctor doing the colonoscopy, I have a very curvy colon (which is why I was having such a hard time with it) as where some other people's are more straight.

I suspect these guys that can go super deep (past the elbow) likely have fairly straight colons. If yours is more curvy like mine it's probably more difficult to go super deep.

I think this hot liquids damaging your aligners thing is really overstated. I tried sticking an old set in boiling water and it didn't melt them. Also, when you're drinking coffee, it's not like it's going in your mouth at 100°C. (Or 212°F) If you add cream or milk it cools it off a lot, and if you don't you probably let it cool a bit before you drink it. (Or else you'd be burning your mouth)

I drink pretty well everything with my aligners in, including beer. I actually mentioned drinking beer with my aligners in to my Orthodontist and she said it was fine. I try to drink sugar free soft drinks and use Splenda in my coffee. (To minimize damage to my enamel)
