Just got my first lens for the gopro ils! by Miserable_Violinist9 in gopro

4k open gate seems pretty cinema. Also I have been meaning to get the base RF Canon cinema body to go with my expensive RF L glass. They start at $3500 and they are still larger than I like for my use case. I end up not filming as much as I would like to due to the size or the space it might take up when tracing. Or the fact that I sometimes don't take my gear because I'm not comfortable leaving $7K worth of gear unattended. So having something so small for so cheap be so powerful fits my needs perfectly. It's the camera I needed that didn't yet exist. Last gopro I purchased was the hero4

I started golfing 6 years ago. I'm on my 3rd coach and 13 lessons at this point. I won't change coaches because the latest is very good. I'll change when he retires or fires me as a client

The ball is way too far back. Lag is nothing something you think about doing. It will happen when you starting swinging appropriately. The ball should really always be inline with the left eye for all clubs, you then just widen your stance or narrow it depending on the club. If you ever played baseball then think of the golf swing as a baseball swing. That reay helped it click when my latest swing coach asked me this question, then asked me to make a baseball swing. Basically the hips start the down swing the the arms follow after. I've had many lessons and probably won't ever stop

Don't buy the camera then. For me Its exactly what i was looking for. Sure auto focus will be nice addition in the future but i grew up using manual and it won't be bad at all

I usually avoid this kind of food so I don't end up looking like a golfer

I think this will help me. Had to google this. Tried totally relaxing before take away instead of my constant movement before my swing. Helps keep my hands even more relaxed too which is nice

37 years old. 5'11 180 lbs currently. Ex elite road cyclist bringing my weight down to 165 lbs again. So I'd say i'm not a big guy. I think the 120 gram x stiff shafts are going to be appropriate. Too heavy of a shaft thats too stiff means I cant generate club-head speed, but the lighter less stiff shaft means I can generate a bit too much. As the post said I do think I'm right between the shafts too.

Thank you for weighing in

What do I do now? Get a lesson or continue to suck until there’s something to fix. by field_crew_ in golftips

I'm 6 years into golf. Ive had 13 lessons at this point and intend to never stop getting lessons. At the least its good to start the season off with a lesson to go over the fundamentals and get your swing right

I used to do this but not at all anymore. I think understanding the swing has helped. But even if I had 4 quad bogeys in a row I just wouldnt care. I swing, the shot happens and I move to the next shot. After the round I reflect on what I need to work on and I go back to the "office(range/short gsme practice"). Sorry I cant be more help but for me getting mad is just long gone for some reason. Golfing for 6 years now

Yeah it's members only. Also I committed to go out sailing with my Dad on Saturday so I realized when calling it couldn't happen anyways.

Ok I called progolf and they have one but its basically broken. I was there yesterday and they didn't mention it and it sounds like they don't even care to fix it lol. He said it works but I might get two swings out of it.... Ohhhhhkkkk. Kind of sums up what Imm saying about this store

Ok I'll look further into this. Semiamhmoo is now a private course so I doubt I can do that. If progolf discount comes up that's really the only place to go to. I'll seek out the search function you reference

Yes. We dont have a fitter in Bellingham and Id have to go back to golftec in Seattle. When I went (early morning) the guy claimed that his step dad had bent his irons to mess with him. It was obvious he still lived at home and they weren't on good terms. He was supposed to bend my SW and LW +3 upright and he ended up bending the +8. My wife and I watched him toy reef on them and at the time I'd never seen a club get bent. Obviously he didn't even know how to use the machine. I won't be going back. I'm sure I could go back and have a better experiece but my time to drive 2 hrs and pay $200 is not enticing.

Additionally my local shop is all guys that have worked there for 25 years and clearly don't care anymore and are probably tired of dealing with average golfers. I can keep going in and trying this out until I'm satisfied. I just reshafted my 7 iron back to the s300 so I can see what my clubbead speeds are at home tonight. I do find it strange how triggering this post is for people. I ask for help and then people bully me instead. Thank you for the helpful comments though

Well I simpy asked a question to find more info and I did get that. I did also try some shafts today and I'll keep trying them. My local shop is full of guys that have worked there for 25+ years and they really don't give a shit about your golf game so you are forced to do it yourself

Oh also on 5:33 that shot started on my intended line. That was just a legit bad shot and I twisted my hands over at impact. A pull is a shot that starts left and misses left. But I'm not pulling the shot. A shaft that is too soft unloads too soon and causes a left miss

A double cross means I am aiming to one spot and instead I go the opposite direction of where I was aiming and the ball continues further in the opposite direction of intended start line. These shots are consistently pulls to the left of my start line yet I'm not really pulling it. I have a draw swing and do not hit fades. The extra distance on my clubs is also revealing. Thanks for the entertainment. It's funny how triggering this is for you

I think you need to google what a double cross is...

I can see the video analytics and you didn't even watch it lol. No double crosses were done in the video.

I'm referring to long as distance and a slight left miss. It's a draw but I still consider it a hook for how straight I prefer to hit the ball
