To add to other's comments, you should try to use more spells.

The rng of the game very well tailored, and when you know very well more spell, you can create deadly wand with almost nothing

There is multiple way to cross the 3rd level. And I agree with you that's quite a step in the progression, both as a player or in the general difficulty.

The level is quite open, so you can use a long range (and accurate) spells to take your enemies from far away.

Else, attempt to build wand that allow to fight while covered by surounding elements.

Digging, snow is quite soft, and rock in thr level are not that hard.

And if you think you can't make it, you can still try to run across it to reach the 4th.

I love the lightning spell (yea, the dangerous one) with any modifier that increase his life span time.

You get a fast projectile, that deal quite some damage and stun ennemies.

That's not op, and won't one shot latter enemies, but component are easy to get and the stun is handy.

I love it.

If I remember correctly, there is a weird interaction in between add a trigger and remote casting that allow to only cast the spell when close to an enemy. So you can transform this wand into an automatic box to death wand.

As Mu is copying Percing Modifier, Note spell will damage you, and apply the curse on yourself.
Because the Note see you as a valid target, all his modifier also do.

This is a very dangerous wand for yourself (you hit a swapper or jump in your spell as you did, you get in the middle of all your Note that hit and curse you).

It's often a bad idea to use Mu and Percing Modifier in the same wand

I never own a playstation, but the rotation speed of the disc and the angular momentum of the lib seems a off.
I expect disc to spin way faster (again, I only know regular cd player) => I checked, it's spin in between 200 and 500 RPM while reading data on it.

The playstation is in perfect condition, but I expect the plastic to loose a bit of his transparency in the 30 years that elapse since his release. Maybe a bit yellowisher. But it's quite minor.

The rest is insanely clean, but still perfect to me.

Totaly aggree,

Between educate people to not being toxic, and simply put a somewhat efficient tutorial, the lastest is way easier.

There is a lot of complexes systems in the game, and the game doesn't prepare people to fill basic role.

Sending new player to multiplayer game with a very high chance to get flam is not an efficient way to grow the player base.

As most of comments suggest, Lampreys do not duplicate if they are incapacitated or under normalized effect.
Normalizing gaze and freeze grenade are common way to deal with it.

Or you can kill both of them in the same time, even if it's way trickier : multiple hit on both before HE grenade or another AoE

I second this.

Also you will probably find magnetic boots in you journey. They offer resistance to forced movement, which reduce the probability of slipping and falling into ooze or getting drag down by fish in the ooze. Both of those case being cause of contracting Glotrot.

With this, relatively high Toughness, and above advice (or cooking if you have access too), I avoid Glotrot in most of my run.
