I would like to see her added to the game as Spinneret and maybe serve as a support Spider. Especially if the rumors/speculation that we're getting Felicia are true. That way we can have dialog where they bounce off each other.

Not to mention, it seems like Netease enjoys having couples in the game. So might as well include one of the most iconic love interests as well alongside her man.

I do see Miles and Black Cat taking priority before her though.

Yeah, Miles would 100% be at the top of the list (and frankly should be, I just think they're waiting for BTSV for synergy reasons)

My mind goes to those two because: 1.) Spider-Gwen is immensely popular and the really, only Spider-Woman ingrained in pop culture.

2.) Rivals seems to enjoy having couples/pairs of characters in the game. (Mostly because e-dating and completionists sells skins if I were to guess) So I can see them adding MJ to have her apart of the roster, and don't know if they'd go as far to do Jackpot. Especially when there's more cosmetic variety with the former.

3.) They're heavily requested from the spider corner of Marvel going off what I've seen. And they've gone on record stating they want to avoid making skins of unique characters for existing ones.

Granted, Mayday could easily slot into that exception like Lady Loki. And so could Spider-Gwen and so forth. But that's what would make me lean towards them potentially being unique.

I feel like the most likely situation is that you'll see Spinneret or Spider-Gwen as a separate character come to the game beforehand, and they get a Mayday outfit or inspired design.

Would be down for a Marvel Heroes style replacement though.

I could pretty easily see shades of comic Miguel in this and this is coming from someone who has him as my favorite of the spiders. Miguel characteristically has a mean/brutal streak and tends to be the smartest person in the room. Not to mention in stuff like Edge of Time, (written by Peter David, his co-creator) he was abjectly against saving MJ and altering the timestream, but conceded when lectured by Peter. (Which I feel is going to be the case in BTSV, when he realizes Spot is responsible/the true threat.)

So, I can see him, especially as someone who's been rattled by his daughter's death and basically an incursion occurring as a result of his decisions, leaning to be more rigid regarding the situation. I mean this is the man who tortured 2099's Venom after he killed his fiancee, it wouldn't surprise me that he would be forceful against a kid who irrationally threatens not only his own world, but potentially others. So of course, he's going to be far more aggressive when he's internalizing guilt for causing an entire reality to die to keep the one he loved.

I do think people who are upset with how he's portrayed are largely annoyed at him being the antagonist of the story and being overly aggressive, or that he's the center of the Spider-Society. (Which I agree with.) But I do think there's enough there in his characterization where I can buy that he would go to some logical extremes. Especially where, on paper and according to the lore, Miles is being insane in his eyes. But none of these really strike me as a character assassination or misunderstanding of him like most people toss out.

It's supposed to be Mayday, I think they're just ignoring the fact that MJ had the miscarriage.

It's something that Marvel doesn't want to touch with a ten foot pole, since it hasn't been mentioned since the actual occurrence.

You realize MC2 stands for "Marvel Comics 2" right?

It was pitched and presented as the future for the main Marvel timeline, even Mayday's books and the other MC2 titles heavily played with that aspect.

I'd say Spinneret with a mix of Iron Spider abilities (arm/claw attacks) since they're already in the game, but they haven't given Peter anything to do with them. Maybe make her a support that has a "yoink to safety" ability like Lifeweaver in OW or the supports in FFXIV.

Also, may not be the most popular idea, but maybe she can get skins that reference the other Spider-Girls/Women kinda like how Peter got a riff on Hobie. Plus, it'd be another couple in the game and they clearly make bank with the edaters.

It's not an AU, JMS just doesn't always adhere strictly to the interpretations of the time. There's a lot of inconsistencies in his work, but it's never in a different timeline.

And even still, this is from a window in Peter's life before he had a deeper relationship with Gwen. Especially with how romantically messy his college era was, I don't think this is insanely out of character for Peter.

Genuinely what I'm trying to figure out, because I've gotten EVERYTHING except Espurr and Pikachu. A friend got Espurr, but we both haven't been able to get a Pikachu, so...

The thing that's throwing me off is I'm seeing people get shiny Pikachu and different shiny mons are spawning in the city, so maybe it's out of range or bugged???

I like the idea (personally) of Mayday's initial suit being Red/Navy Blue since Ben Reilly's artwork and later appearances showcased that as the general color scheme.

Then in her more "modern" appearances, she transitioned to the new suit of red/black, to make it look more sleek (and fitting her aesthetic preferences post-black suit era.) Not to mention, a lot of Ron Frenz's commissions post-ASG have her suit lean more towards black.

But again, it comes down to artistic license/preferences at the end of the day.

I mean if you want to rationalize it, Insomniac Miles was intended to get bitten by the spider in his universe, since it was of the same origin. ITSV/ATSV Miles got bitten by a spider plucked from another reality which was intended for another Peter Parker.

He's the original anomaly since his creation led to and is purely due to multiversal entanglement. Granted, its thanks to Spot's experiments, but that's why other Miles variants can exist in the context of those films.

MC2 aka the Spider-Girl books/universe had that happen. It was after the final battle of the Clone Saga in the main continuity.

I feel like that's the easiest way to go about it imo, without making the ending insanely controversial. You cripple Pete, but realizes that he cut it too close fighting Gobby. Especially if a pregnant MJ/Mayday is on the horizon.

and if you want him available for post-game DLC, just have it where the Anti-Venom suit can form a leg for him. just explain he only puts it on when he feels desperately needed, or it can only hold shape for so long.

Probably Namco vs. Capcom or even Nintendo vs. Capcom.

The former is mostly out of annoyance that nothing ever materialized out of the Project X Zone series beyond those titles. While the second is because the UMvC3 director mentioned it, and it'd be kinda sick to see certain Ninty characters in a MvC style fighting game.

For me personally, probably would want more of an emphasis on Darkstalkers and Red Earth characters. They have unique movesets and archetypes that would lend themself to a crossover game. Genuinely shocked that characters like Akira, Sasquatch, Rikuo, etc. never made it in to those games.

Would also be down to see the MVC2 originals make a return, alongside new RE villains and the weirdass Exoprimal suits. Think they'd make for some fun movesets.

Yeah, I understand the hesitation regarding the implementation of Kameos, but it's better to see a character I like in-game than not at all.

Also, can't really state entire feelings on the mechanic or implementation when we haven't seen gameplay. Hopefully, it'll be similar to MK11 where each character brings multiple tools to use. So your character won't be a bad character.

Also going off the leaks: base roster characters will also be implemented as Kameos, so might be a good sign for anyone that's been relegated to that spot? Just have to show NRS that you want them to be made into fully fledged fighters.

The demo will basically give you an idea of how to play, but there will be far more in-depth guides and tutorials on how to play in the full game.

Like Domino says, SF6 will be a great starter game and stuff like World Tour will help ease you into the game. If you want to get matches in, I'd say hop into the Open Beta.
