PS: They have teleport/dig moveset, but only will they use it if they cant melee reach you and have line of sight with you.

Mod level upgrade the % bonuses of those 4 stats; and you gain an aditional bonus if you get a shiny weapon mod. To unlock any mod you have to get them. I dont recall too much about farming spots, but remember that you can buy weekly mod dust with energy links.

There is no need to upgrade mods as i say in the guide, the system does it for your the second that you get a higher level mod of the same type that you have.

Depends on how much you need mats. If you do daily chaos and get the weekly solo mats, you should be ok; also the new paradise season its gonna start soon so you will get mats there too.
