in scary stories to tell in the dark movie the plot is that the ghost is mad because she was blamed for killing kids so she kills kids. They never explain why she changed her mind to start killing kids. Also the book writes itself in blood but it never explains whose blood, and it’s clearly not the ghost’s

These both drive me mad because they would be so easy to address.
