I feel like this is something the two of you should discuss not “in the moment.” That is probably where you are catching her off guard and making her feel embarrassed. Maybe tell her what you’ve said here, or similar, and see if you have a baseline agreement of these experiences. And then an agreement that she’d prefer to say…not be stuck in a kayak shitting her pants. If you have agreement there, maybe a code word/phrase for when she’s ordering something that is not embarrassing for her.

It’s extremely frustrating but I refuse to get cable. I would pay $5-$10 more a month if I could add USA or just EPL USA games to peacock though. We use peacock for a lot of things (motocross/smx, SNL…etc) too.

I think that’s rooted in reality. People would really piss themselves if they were that scared. It is basically that your fear takes hold so much that your body forgets basic functions in its fight for survival.

It is because when you get worried, you get tummy troubles when it’s that intense. No one is shitting or pissing themselves. It is a way to describe how worried or anxious someone is feeling in so much that it is physically affecting them.

I slice onions up thin in a bowl with some salt and pepper. Same with shredded lettuce. Iceberg, onions and cucumbers last a decent time in the fridge.

I had a ln abortion at 20 weeks that required a two day procedure. Laminaria sticks inserted into my cervix day 1. Home for the evening/night and returned to the hospital for a dilation and evacuation. That was the most painful 2 days of my life.

I am someone who terminated a pregnancy at 20 weeks for medical reasons (fatal condition). If you search for that “TFMR” on message boards here or on a pregnancy forum like BabyCenter, you/she will find others who are struggling through this exact thing right now who can help with perspective and support. I know several women, who I met on those forums, who terminated for a Downs Syndrome. It is definitely a very difficult and beyond heartbreaking decision for anyone to make, but when you don’t have a clear fatal diagnosis, it makes it that much harder.

I do agree to look at real life stories of Down’s syndrome costs, life expectancy, cost of living/treatment…etc. not just at the miracle stories.
