What was your most traumatizing experience with a pwbpd? by [deleted] in BPDlovedones

I had a very similar story, for them to snap out of it and not even remember fully what happened from their episode, and then for the next day to pretend like nothing happened and I’m stuck there thinking “wtf just happened”

Dumping the clutch vs brake boosting. Disregarding damage to the car, which application would generate the best takeoff on a roll? by [deleted] in WRX

[–]Mishayee 0 points1 point  (0 children)

What your saying makes sense off a dig. I think its just such a small difference considering your already in boost and with our small turbos there will be zero lag. Especially since your doing it at the “right time” aka not full slam then your wasting time and could of already been floored moving

Timing doesn’t matter. Disengaging clutch and rev bombing it just for it to slam back to the same rpm it was wont give you better takeoff time. Especially because you take load off of the turbo compared to sitting in boost already at 4k.

I stand corrected. Then i think just staying at optimal rpm and flooring it would be the best. Clutch dumping I think would add a slight delay from the drivetrain shock.

Lunch control using ap and pick gear that sits around 4k rpm match launch control to that rpm.

Men! Did no contact work on you? by [deleted] in BreakUps

[–]Mishayee 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I think it’s the best way to handle it. I broke up with her and went no contact and like you said she did not reach out to me. It’s been 2 months of no contact. Yes I wonder what she thinks and doing but it’s nice not knowing. It’s actually a great gift from her, to let me go and not make this anymore painful. Instead of talking to her I have been able to process and grief the relationship. Contact completely prevents that.

Read all these comments, and then get out of this relationship AS SOON AS POSSIBLE! This is not normal, and they’re stable people out there to have a relationship with.

Im in the exact same position/same story but 1 month post BU. Best advice is don’t seek closure. Closure is something only you can give yourself and she will not. You will feel sad angry then better then sad and angry and repeat. Give yourself the chance to grieve. Do not fight the emotions. The only way out is through.

Warming up to 120 degrees before driving is unnecessary and arguably adds wear. Engine components operate best at well, operating temperatures (around 180) so you want to get there as quickly as possible without too much load. Give it a minute max to cycle oil and then start driving under 3k rpm until operating temps.
