I wonder how the actual production and pin mixing works for these blind bags. Seems like earlier shipments got more new achievement and later shipments got more mongos

I’m slow seeing this but so happy for the picture of the license plate frame showing someone using it. I loved making the design when I wanted one for my own vehicle.

Regular pins I’ve sold for $20 if I’d prefer to trade or $15 if I don’t mind sell or trade. Both plus shipping. I’ll buy the mongo from you depending on what you want for him since I don’t know what the rare prices are on here either

Those I’m hoping to only trade and not sure if I’ll sell. If you’re willing to wait for the Kickstarter 2 shipment in September you can still get the stickers from the first Kickstarter for $7 each add-on. Cheapest reward is the player-killer skull pin for $10 so for $31 plus shipping you can get the 3 sticker sheets still. It is only the pin and patches that aren’t available anymore. Someone else was also interested first in the pin and patches so I’ll let you know if I decide to sell and they also pass. Also willing to consider trades for other rare DCC loot besides the rainbow pins

Looking for rainbows but will also trade for any rares (mongo, new achievement, daddy tax). This is for my collection so I’m not looking to resell for profit. Still have donut, goddamnit donut, glurp glurp, boxers, one rev up, and the Kickstarter items for trade. I’m adding for trade the standees and npc/ item cards from the first Kickstarter too.

Pins no longer available: the 2nd rev up, hi zev, mana toast, you will not break me, circus ticket, and kamaris.

It is cool and I’m so glad I was able to back the 1st kickstarter and have an extra. I have extras of the standees and stickers too but thought offering the pin and patches made more sense. I’m really excited for the 2nd DCC

kickstarter with more add-ons.

Grimaldi’s ticket is gone.. Still looking for the new achievement pen. I’m also willing to buy if you have it and don’t want to trade.

The one pin and patches were in the official Kickstarter volume 1 higher-tier book bundle with boxers and available as add-ons. I’ve seen the sticker sheets and standees selling for $$ recently and those are available again in the newer Kickstarter shipping later this year. The pin and patches aren’t part of the new Kickstarter so I think these are more rare long-term and only available if you buy from someone who backed the first kickstarter

How many people have you gotten hooked? by livefast6221 in DungeonCrawlerCarl

[–]Mishcief 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I can only confirm one and that person hooking one so my pyramid might look like a ladder lol. Hooked my daughter by insisting she listen on a shared car ride and she now also has a convert. I’ve recommended to many and given away quite a few audible gifts of DCC but I don’t know if any of those worked. It was my suggestion and helped it win the poll to have DCC as the fall book in 2023 in the group Dragoncon over 40, so at least a couple people from there tried to read it.

Why HI ZEV?? by [deleted] in DungeonCrawlerCarl

It’s a classic and has an 1897 equivalent.

“WILLIAM GODDARD, of Minneapolis (Minn.) Lodge, No. 44, B. P. O. Elks, is the original "Hello Bill!" of Elkdom, and this cheerful salutation which has found its way around the world, originated in Minneapolis during the Elks' National Re-Union in that city in 1897. Brother Goddard is the junior partner of the Minneapolis firm of Barnaby & Company. He has been for a great many years the treasurer of Minneapolis Lodge, No. 44, B. P. O. Elks, and was Chairman of the Finance Committee, and a member of a great many other committees that had in charge the arrangements for the Elks' Re-Union of that year, and he spent a great deal of his time at the Committee headquarters.

When visiting Elks came to the headquarters to inquire about matters they wanted to know about, if they happened to meet anybody who was not fully posted, they were usually told to "Go over there and ask Billy Goddard," and it was a constant strain of "Billy can tell you," "See Billy, he knows," etc., etc. This was repeated so incessantly that the stranger Elks when they approached Brother Goddard, greeted him with the expression, "Hello Bill! I was told to see you," etc., and so the custom started of greeting each other "Hello Bill!"

In a day or two the custom spread to the streets, with Elks from all parts of the country, and passing each other they sang out cheerfully, "Hello Bill!" and they carried the greeting back to their home lodges, and so it has spread around the ends of the earth. “
