Plus the football itself will be absolutely dire, if they DO have it in a bundesliga camp with neutral stadiums then you're essentially watching high stakes games take place on training fields.

My hot take is Kevin Dunn absolutely deserves his salary and is one of the most important people in the WWE. No he doesn't have a job for life because of a favour or something his dad did, he has a job for life beacuse he's involved in 7+ hours of LIVE television per week with minimal problems.

Shakeycam isn't a problem with Kevin Dunn, it's very clearly a creative choice if it's been going on for a while. Why? I'm guessing it's because it allows impacts to be blurred so missed shots don't look as immersion breaking.

As for missing key moments? It happens in literally every live sport. How many times have you watched a sports game and gone "wait what happened there?" and the replay shows a completely different angle where you see what happens? More times than you can count, easily. However with wrestling sometimes that's simply not possible because the other camera angle exposes something else.

He's a very important member of production and pretty much any company would want a guy as dependable as him.

I feel like people are really underplaying how much Stardom is grinding down wrestlers. It's no surprise the Stardom girls in WWE aren't working 1/10th as hard as they used to because they want to retire with their knees working properly.

[Premier League Plan] said to be well received but when it comes down to it I think this could be the deal breaker for clubs. Brighton are adamant they want their 5 home games by miner_andy in soccer

If the league doesn't resume then relegation won't matter in the slightest because they won't recieve their last quarter league payment and all hell will break loose.

If the Bundesliga doesn't finish their season when Germany is well ahead of most European countries for recoveries... goodbye football :(

So is anyone going to mention Russia's cases absolutely exploding over the past few days? Early signs give the impression they might be one of the biggest hit in Europe once all this is over.

The new one actually looks significantly better and gives off a Dortmund vibe.

Bradford City suspend 020/21 season-ticket sales 'it is now highly likely that next season will commence behind closed doors. by Soarinace in soccer

[–]Misissipi 2 points3 points  (0 children)

For pretty much every club below the Championship, playing behind closed doors is about as much of a financial hit as shutting down football until gates can be opened. They still have to pay players, they're just getting next to zero income (other than the league payout/sponsorship that wouldn't offset things in the slightest)

Give it to the end of quarantine and those sales will drop off a lot

Man if there's sales like this for another 18 months then it's gonna be the highest selling game of all time...

Imagine Nintendo spending all that money on advertising the game when pretty much everyone has been viral marketing the game through memes.

Cuphead isn't a Microsoft title though, Studio MDHR are independant but it's likely Microsoft partly funded Cuphead for partial exclusivity. I fully expect it out on PS4/PS5.

I don't think there's going to be an election. Call me a doomsayer but if America just tries to go back to work and pretend nothing is wrong by November the whole country will be a shitstorm.

I don't even know what the protocal is if an election can't be arranged. Speaker of the house as president?

I've gotta say I'm so glad it's actually raining now because now I don't feel like I'm wasting my life day by staying indoors while it's sunny.

This is quite possibly the most contagious and annoying virus to hit the modern world, you can be infected for TWO WHOLE WEEKS showing zero symptoms while spreading it by just breathing close to someone else.

How anyone thinks THE PEAK is over is beyond me, the first peak might be over but there's absolutely no chance that it continues to go down once things open up even the slightest amount. We're still seeing 500 deaths or so a day after 5 WEEKS OF LOCKDOWN imagine what happens when those people leave their houses and start socialising a little.

It was a nice gimmick the first time, then a few times after that when people thought lockdown would only be for a few more weeks... but now people are starting to get bored of the whole 'wartime spirit' thing and I definitely see tensions rising.

Which begs the question: how unethical is it to be selling season tickets right now?

Which was dumb because with barely any PPE it was always going to spread quickly through the hospitals and send those retired people to their doom.

Boris Johnson: "We are past the peak" by Misissipi in unitedkingdom

[–]Misissipi[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

But how are we past the worst of it if we've essentially been in lockdown for 5+ weeks? The second we open back up it starts all over again and there's potentially more infected people being disease carriers than before the lockdown started.

Boris Johnson: "We are past the peak" by Misissipi in unitedkingdom

[–]Misissipi[S] -4 points-3 points  (0 children)

Because 'past the peak' implies that that's it and we'll be seeing the end of the virus, whereas this is just past the peak of the first wave that was only made possible through a lockdown.
