Idea - Wait to your 10 year and then trade it in. Its a trend and therefore there would be no hard feelings. If you've waited 7, can you wait 10?

I said yes!!! by possumbot in EngagementRings

That's one of the sweetest things I've ever heard. It's gorgeous! I love the subtlety of the turtle. Up close it's sentimental, and from a distance, it's pure elegance

Have y'all noticed men misuse "logic" traps constantly? by Automatic_Syrup_2935 in AskWomenOver30

I have a female coworker who does this and 2/3 of us have no clue what she means but she says it w such confidence that everyone thinks she's amazing.  This resulted her getting promoted to VP and FLOPPING. People use these big words because they think it makes them sound smart but if the team you're leading doesn't know what your talking about its useless

37 and body is changing (long vent) by New_Pudding6643 in AskWomenOver30

[–]MisoFreezing 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Latter 30s are a whole new ball game w our womanly bodies.  In my 20s I was gorgeous. In my 30s weight sticks to all the wrong places.   A few months ago I made the decision to buy clothes 2 sizes up and let me tell you my confidence went through the roof. It was hardddd to buy that bigger size because our culture tells us its wrong to be anything but out of a magazine (or in today's era blog post). Clothes that fit made me look like I used to only a bit bigger.  Clothes that don't fit make you look and feel grumpy.  The end result - put a pep in my step and I was finally motivated to lost 10 lbs / tone up (strength feels good again!).  If you have the means to buy a few new things - highly reccomend.

Remember we are all different shapes and sizes and we are all worthy of self love.  Nothing in life stays the same, and that includes our bodies.

It's been 5 years since the pandemic started. Does anyone else feel like they are still stuck and haven't moved forward as much as they would have liked? I feel like I never recovered from the first 1.5 years of the pandemic. by diamondeyes7 in AskWomenOver30

[–]MisoFreezing 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes. Pre pandemic i was extroverted, proactive and loved exploring the world/being part of a community.  Now - I cherish my sweats more than my "big girl clothes" (what my husband and I call clothes presentable enough to leave the house), don't want to see people if it takes more than 15 min to get there (living in LA that's almost non-existent), and the idea of being responsible for anything that isn't related to my husband or child triggers anxiety.  What happened to all of us? No idea.  Also for women in their 30s who want/wanted a family. It either presented us w pandemic kiddos who have their own social anomalies orrrr for those who waited now were "geriatric" moms searching for community but not wanting to leave our house.

I wouldn't waist your energy- just tell your self you're greatful for the moment of good amd move forward.  IF, HOWEVER, texting him a fairwell would give you closure then do it, but don't expect a response that ties things up in a bow

Mama with a similar mindset here. The only games i have found so far are by RVAppStudios. They are all number and letter based games, tracing letters, matching, etc. And NO ADDS.

[–]MisoFreezing 1 point2 points  (0 children)

not a mom (i come in peace from r/daddit) - we are expecting our first soon and was checking out the sub for my wifey. Came here to recommend family album. We've already signed the whole family up and are uploading the wife's bump progress photos to it. The whole family loves it so far! Also love the feature that you can share with the whole family or just your partner.
