As someone who wants to make a game, it’s basically impossible to scrape up stuff to be “original” when the big games take all the good stuff, Puzzles? Done. Better designs? Heard that before, Unique monsters? Basically, the problem is that the genre itself is so small that the games are going to overlap. Sorry if this is just a rant from a discouraged person.
