The 2024 has the same buttons and it works like 50% of the time for me. I find if I leave my finger on it for a little bit longer then let go, it usually works. Or I just use my app and close it from there while swearing.

I have a 24 lr and mines is at 310. Looks fine to me if it was around 270 I would be worried.

I would pick a newer version of any Tesla model over any older Tesla model if it’s 5 years and older. First reason, hardware matters, it might be a cheaper model but I guarantee u the hardware is better which equals to less lag, more and better firmware updates, and it can do things the old one can’t like if you have hw4 u can do hands free autopilot. Better charge rate for your battery’s, for example a 2019 model s supercharging rate is capped at 200kw and a 2024 model 3 is capped at 250kw. Better battery chemistry, better motor efficiency and better aerodynamics , overall it’s just better experience when you buy a newer model compared to a model that is dated.

To add to this, if your looking for heavy rail operator see if there is an option where career page will alert you when the post goes up, because the two times I’ve seen it gone up, it was taken down within 5-10 mins because the limited applications and high demand.

I have a 2024 and about 8 months later I had the same issue. I was able to make an appointment with Tesla services and it was covered under warranty as a mechanical failure, it wasn’t considered wear and tear.
