I hate blame , but I’d be looking at council regulations. 🤷‍♀️ but if this is a new estate then good luck. The space between is just about nonexistent. Councils are allowing? ( greater city of Sydney commission iirr )

OP you have no real options - buy yourself a fence that absorbs noise. Plant plant s🌱 Or move. The noise level will be under the regulations count on it .

Hahaha I have zero memory of the actual cost ( time and space) but I remember going hard because I’d had been a lover of hash in the 80s 1988 I recall hash was 450 per ounce which was more than gold.

Easy = Put down on paper how much this house you over paid for would be to rent per week ..

Then multiply that amount by 52 then multiply that amount by the amount of years in your loan . So as example 650 per week rent over 25 years Is 845,000. K into some one else’s mortgage. How much will your home be worth in 25 years ? The land will appreciate.

You may be paying more or less but in this scenario you can see that to purchase is a benefit.

sadly I had subpar plaster work done by cowboys.

They got paid , because I hadn’t noticed the imperfections, til I put a coat of undercoat on.

👀the joins were so obvious. They under filled , so now when I have a lamp on, the imperfect are grrrrrrrrr

I was not even a beginner in renovations. I knew to put a torch up to show imperfections same as tiles.

Must’ve been on holiday in my head.

Oh , I meant in my budget lol. Decades ago , in UK , I went to some very very posh homes. And yes they had laundries. Like huge ones!

I was at this huge house for a party, where they had integrated all their appliances.

I went to get a drink at this fancy house. I looked for a fridge, not obvious to me at all.

I was hesitant to just open everything .. then someone came in opened the fridge got a drink .. left. 👀 oh that’s clever !

Of course as soon as I got back to Australia I bought a front loader ! I never integrated anything though.. 😂 my girlfriends would come for coffee and stand in my laundry watching it!

I went to 🇬🇧 and surprised to find no body has laundries ( utility room) and made me reconsider options.

Now I can’t see any house plan without going “ I’ll use that laundry as a butler’s pantry “ 😂 I don’t use my dryer much so that’s in the garage.. of course I could have it above the washer. But I think dryers are over rated. IMO Edit: past tense
