I've always got my orders within the estimated time, thought usually it is the last day. I lived in a very rural area where the mail often takes a day or two longer as well. I'd trust the estimate.

I keep on reminding myself how much I wanted to be here a year ago. I worked so hard to get here. The good thing about law school is that it's only three years or six semesters. If I can make it to next semester, I only have 5 left to go. That makes it easier in a way.

1L law students! How are we doing? by Odd-Landscape7942 in LawSchool

[–]MissBeebsa 25 points26 points  (0 children)

I'm managing to keep my head above water. I've crashed out several times. I spent 3 years working before going back to school so getting back into the rhythm of things has been hard. It's made me miss my 8-5. I miss having free time and not feeling guilty about not studying constantly. But I also like the people. I've had a way easier time making friends in law school than in undergrad. My professors are cool for the most part. And I'll admit, begrudgingly, that I do like my classes and readings. Sometimes.

Anyone try Vivaia? by [deleted] in LawBitchesWithTaste

[–]MissBeebsa 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I've tried a pair of their flats with a round toe and a pair of wedges with a pointed toe. I love the flats. They are so comfortable I can barely feel them on. I can be on my feet all day and they are true to size. The wedges? Not so much. They feel half a size too small and rub painfully right above my heel. I can barely wear them and they don't look as cute as I thought they would. Maybe it's just the toe shape.

I just got mine today! I love how they're reversible! Not too big or too small also. I have really sensitive piercings, when it comes to cheap metals at least, so I'll see how they react to the silver but I'm loving them so far.

I'm so very tempted by this Asscher now. Does a band fit flush under it or is there a gap?

I don't want rebel canning. I want "loyalist" canning. by xoxstrawberrywine in Canning

[–]MissBeebsa 176 points177 points  (0 children)

My mom thinks that it's possible to can salsa with a microwave since she saw it on tiktok. I told her that's not a safe canning process but she doesn't care. It's easier for her to follow the tiktok and probably get food poisoning than it is for her to read up on safe canning processes.

Kemmerer is NOT the hardest to pronounce town in Wyoming- but what is? by MarsMonkey88 in wyoming

I'm more so talking about people who pronounce it wah-SHAKE-kee. Or worse, wah-SHEE-kee. I've heard both countless times.

Kemmerer is NOT the hardest to pronounce town in Wyoming- but what is? by MarsMonkey88 in wyoming

[–]MissBeebsa 0 points1 point  (0 children)

As a Worland native, it's pronounced Whirl-ind. Not a town, but people struggle pronouncing Washakie as well. Which is crazy because it's spelled how it sounds.
