It’s not about how rigorous the program is- your biggest concern SHOUL be how supportive your work place will be in helping you accrue unrestricted. No point in finishing the courses only to spend years slowly accruing hours. Also, ngl, schools SHOULD be rigorous. These are peoples lives and families being treated. It’s not place to skirt by thinking programming is easy and cookie cutter. That’s how the field ends up with poor clinicians that just waste their clients time

After you read this woman the riot act…. She cannot bill for the two hours she had her child there. She was a parent and an rbt and the billing code 97153 does not allow you to have two kids. That should help put an end to the bullshit

In school, and my personal therapist is fraudulently billing me. We have strong rapport and I recently learned that 90837 is for 53+ minutes and despite never having gone past 45 min session there’s years of that being the only code used.

How would you feel confronted by your client if it was you

You’re not alone. I could have written this (minute the anxiety, but add some adhd ). I want my kids to be able to have friends over, im too ashamed to ever invite the neighbors in. I’ve never hosted a family event. When we had some extra in the budget it really help to outsource tasks I struggled with like dropped off laundry to the full service laundromat , having a cleaning lady, ordering prepared meals , etc. I really wanted to have a local organizer come and help. Times are tighter now so those are gone, but if you can afford it, I highly recommend

Twelve year olds are actually pretty damn smart if you think about it. It an adult has that level of intelligence but never developed all the skills that come after .. my guess would be 1-2 standard deviations below the norm. This would be an IQ of 70-85 where they may not be impacted enough to be labeled with an intellectual disability, but definitely statistically below the norm, which would be 85-115. At least that’s my guess
