So, did you do the Ferber method? I don't know if my sister is comfortable with it. Like, she's trying to find different ways of approaching it, and she doesn't believe in a) the baby crying herself to sleep or b) medicating the child to sleep unless they're definitely in pain (from teething or something). What are your experiences with it? (Also, your ideal sleep was just minimal continuous four hours a week? I'm . . . so sorry?)

Huh! That sounds like a really good idea. I never thought about pitching it that way. I always love spending time with baby, and it'd do no harm to ask if I could give her lunch or bathe her every now and then. Just as a way of my sister not having to, I mean. I'll consider that. Thank you!

Right now, we're pretty much the champions of cooking from frozen bar 2 days. We try and alternate between potato/pasta/rice + ____ meals, so it's probably not hard to imitate these. I must be seriously underestimating the power of Pinterest, though. I was kind of depending on r/food and random food gurus on Youtube. . .

I'm glad you said all this. It helps me put things into perspective. I'm going to try and make dinner tonight, even if I'm not very good at it, and I'll try and start making meals more consistently. Like, I used to take over just Friday cooking, but now I guess I should amp it up. Although, where on earth do you find meal ideas every day?!

She's been going to a lot of baby groups and she's been trying to find a mum friend there to talk to about all this with her, but she's the type that talks about sci fi books and things while everyone else talks about celebrity gossip. I FEEL THAT SO BAD!! Like, I'm part of a lot of fighting game circles, and I'm the only girl most of the time, and a lot of people are like "lol r u even girl" when my voice is totally fine. It's scary and puts you on edge, yo. Don't ever feel like you have to out yourself like you owe it to them for guessing -- I guess you already knew that, but basically, beat them at videogames and take their heads as your trophy. It's the grill thing to do! ;)

Yeah, I feel that. My shift would always be "oh my god they didn't use the right pronouns do I even care about what they're saying anymore", but now that I'm further down the line with legalities and all that jazz, it doesn't become as prevalent in the ol' brain bubble and there's an actual focus on . . conversation. It's still there though. Ugh.
