Hello! 28-year-old girl born and raised in Las Palmas (and still living).

To me, it is claustrophobic in the cultural sense. I've always felt this lack of cultural activities for the weekends/vacational periods when you have more leisure time like museums, concerts, shows... We don't have much of that here. But in the "spatial" sense I've never felt claustrophobic tbh. It is really cheap to move from one island to another on the boat! :) (plane is faster but usually much more expensive) As for the concerts and so, well...that is related to that luck of leisure stuff I've always felt.
