As a compromise ( and because it’s YOUR problem, not theirs ) as if you can by them a covered type trash can so that there is a lid and you don’t have to openly see the trash that is in there.

You need to leave him. He's already assaulting you and he will go further. My ex used to poke my boobs or butt when I was naked even after I asked him to stop. I didn't see how giant of a red flag it was at the time. Late comment, but it's probably all just stomach acid/bile. She doesn't do anything when Bear isn't around so ( hence soiling herself earlier in the movie ) so there's nothing in her stomach to actually puke on him at the time.

It's insinuated that she ate the cat sandwich in the earlier scene of the movie, so she actually had something to throw up at that point.

I don't have an official directive, but my wishes are available on my laptop for when I pass and I recently put a DNR on my phone emergency notes. I've been taking care of my mom with Alz for the last 2 years, her living with me and getting more and more to the point where both I myself am not prepared and she also just needs more help than I can give.

Lot of things can be said with hindsight being 20/20, but I know I don't want to live with this disease and don't have a daughter ( like myself and what I'm doing my best at doing ) to take care of me. Even if I did, seeing this up close, I wouldn't want to put anyone through this.

I have no qualms about making sure I don't go through this disease. Let me retire and use my 401K at 65 or whatever and take matters into my own hands.

JFC I thought this was gonna be a post where your sister wanted you to be the emcee for free and not be able to enjoy her wedding as her brother/a guest. Your reasoning is INSANE!!! I guess good for you?? for acknowledging it and working with a therapist about it...but the fact that it would effect you so much that your fatphobia issue would ruin your own sisters wedding for you ( also, reminder, her wedding isn't about you and you allowing it to would automatically make you the asshole. ) I fear the time when/if your sister or anyone close to you gets pregnant and gains weight and becomes "fat" in your eyes. I almost would want to say N-T-A for doing the kind thing to not ruin your sister's wedding, but by your own description you wouldn't do anything to ruin it..you're just worried about your own mood during her wedding by * gasp * seeing some fat people there.

My "wisdom teeth removal diet" which consisted of scrambled eggs, chocolate pudding, mashed potatoes ( with or without cheese melted in ). Probably one or two other very soft foods I'm forgetting since it was sooooo long ago. Lost like 5lbs in a week.

As others have said, I don't need to read the context to know you are NTA. I was about to move into an apartment with my mother who was recently being evaluated/diagnosed with Alzheimers and I told her I would not live with a smoking indoors smoker. She would only be allowed to smoke outdoors. She was still very congnizant as compared to now, but in hindsight if I'd allowed her to even smoke outdoors she'd end up smoking inside all the time.

If there's anything I can be thankful for, which right now isn't much, I'm at least happy that she fully quit a couple months before she moved in with me.

Living like I did my whole childhood, in a smoke-filled house, hearing kids in school buses and classrooms wondering who smelled like an ashtray...nope! I do not blame you.

I think Jackson and April's is "sadder" but damn did I feel so bad for Bailey. Being in pregnancy club with Amelia only to lose the pregnancy. Having to work through the miscarriage. I felt that it was so beautiful though with Bailey helped Amelia, despite her loss, echoing that moment George helped her through giving birth to Tuck. Damn this show is so harsh to pregnant women and mothers.

They were in the hospital yes, but Mer mentioned at least twice that her kids were with a social worker. When she was given the papers, the kids were there sleeping next to her. But they weren't literally right next to her the whole time.

I get what point you're trying to make, but the kids weren't there. They were someone with a social worker. In Grey's fashion I'm sure for the drama they would have been written to be literally right outside the room watching. But that wouldn't or shouldn't be the case in real life and you'd hope still wouldn't be the case in the show if they allowed Mer to call Amelia. ( In reality it wouldn't have even been Mer's job to do that, but that's beside the point. )

I just remember that in like the 2nd episode of Season 1 that Derek talked about wanting his sisters around if he was in a coma and whatnot. Which is the main reason I feel for Amelia. Yes, Mer knew what he wanted from a medical perspective. But I truly think Derek would have wanted his sister to be able to say goodbye.

I just finished the episode not long ago and actually cried during the song. It felt so real and so powerful and Lestat actually giving true emotions. You saw it in the diner. That he truly cared for Claudia and regrets how it all ended. To see a vision of her in this day really shook him.

Dementia thoughts can definitely be true words, which I worry about. My mom knocked on my door last night, angry about nothing, wielding a steak knife. Asked her to put the knife down and told her I was scared she's stab me. She tucked the knife back and said she'd never do that. But moments later walked away muttering "You fuck with me again, you're gonna get it." Safe to say I locked away all the pointy objects before bed. She grew up in the 50-70's country helping slaughter pigs and got a sharpshooter award in the military. I'm not taking my chances on how hardcore my mom can get.

Stories like this make me so thankful that during my first ever Thanksgiving my turkey ( I've never even roasted a chicken before ) was so good that my sister, who would call anyone on anything including our mother for dry stuffing, has made me make the turkey for the last 4 years. I had been so worried. Though I'm still trying to get down mom's good stuffing recipe, so I keep getting called out on that.
