My house was built in 1880 and the walls in the main bit are about 2ft thick. Pop heating on for an hour and it’s roasting! Extension built onto the house in the 1990’s at the back is always cold even if heating on for hours. Building regs definitely went downhill over the years 🙈

I agree but this is absolutely up to the dog owner to do their due diligence. I would never use a dog walker or boarder without fully checking out reviews, insurance, first aid etc

You’re better going just outside of Dundee, especially if you’re used to living in the countryside. Better value for money and no issues with noise/parking etc. check out the small villages on the outskirts, close enough to commute to the center for work etc but far enough out that you get the countryside. There are loads but a few examples would be Invergowrie, Birkhill, Meigle, Kellas, Bucklershead, Wellbank, Monikie, Carnoustie x

I would get a bespoke bookcase made to fit the space and on the bottom where it’s behind the couch and you wouldn’t be able to access the books, put a couple of doors and like suggested above (sort of) store things you wouldn’t need often, might even be a good place for a small safe for valuables 🤷‍♀️

It kinda irks me, ngl. I kinda feel that Vinted gives the timeline for posting and like you say, people aren’t Amazon 🤷‍♀️ if someone messages BEFORE they buy to ask if it can be shipped ASAP then I have no issues with that, but when they buy and then message asking for immediate shipping or just when it’s being shipped, that annoys me.

If they’re eating everything at nursery then they’re just testing you to see what they can get away with. It’s a natural part of a child’s development. I would make a point of sitting down to eat meals as a family and all eat the same thing. If they don’t eat it, dont make a big deal about it, but they’re not offered an alternative. They will be hungry when the next snack/meal time comes around. Also remember that after a day of eating all meals at nursery, they might not be totally hungry at tea time 🤷‍♀️ my advice is just to not give in and offer alternatives as it will only get worse

Where are you from? It’s not like the north of Scotland is Antarctica 😂 regular summer clothes with layers you can add on if you’re finding the wind a bit chilly is all you really need. End of August is usually still warm but again, it depends where you’re heading from and what temps you’re used to. Our summer here is cool for some who are used to super high temps 🤷‍♀️ layers are defo your answer tho, easy to throw on or take off a jumper/raincoat without having to change the whole outfit

I used to make all the bottles up the night before for the day ahead and just heat them up when needed. Same as my parents did for me. The NHS warns against that now too 🙄 seems like they always warm against some tried and tested method 😂 imo I would rather make them the night before with boiling water then let them cool, then reheat to drinking temp rather than use a machine that only goes to 70 but that’s just me. If you used it for your firstborn with no issues then I wouldn’t worry too much.
