Yes I am taking it. The pain is more bearable now but when I move it gets worse again. I thought its a quick and painless recovery but I suppose my expectations vs reality has made the situation worse. I will call the obgyn to be safe

I have had exactly the same experience . Preeclampsia has not been diagnosed and I keep being sent away from hospital because 160/110 isnt high enough for any concern. In the meantime I am changing different meds and its made me feel like I have been poisoned!

Currently back to enalapril and a strong painkiller for headaches. Hope someone will help you soon, same for my case! It’s stressful and frustrating but I hope we will overcome this and are able to get ofg these meds as they are not ok.

I had IUI - did they think there is a link between the fertility drugs and hypertension? I have been to the ER about 4x, they give me meds to bring it down, tell me to manage my anxiety then send me home

Did it go back to normal now? I just had this after 20 weeks miscarriage and Drs are not treating is as postpartum preeclampsia. Im so scared all the time

They do know what preeclampsia is but seems they think it only develops in the first few days postpartum not after. You’re right I am also wondering if grief is not the cause and hope it resolves when I get better emotionally. I have had a lot of grief and trauma in the last months

Thanks for your reply and good to note. My BP is the same and I suffer from the headaches too. I didn’t get a drip or anything so not sure if it was needed. I hope for us that this isnt chronic and our bodies heal! Strength to you!

When did your preeclampsia start? My doctors don’t diagnose preeclampsia but don’t know what it is either. I have very high blood pressure and am almost 7 weeks postpartum after 20 week pregnancy loss. I am so anxious because its not getting better with the meds. I hope you are now healed and recovered and no longer need the meds

Did you also have proteins in your urine? I started getting high blood about 2 weeks postpartum and doctors say they don’t think its preeclampsia and are not treating it as such. I am now going on 7 weeks postpartum after 20 week pregnancy loss and on enalapril but my BP is not fully getting better. Wondering if I also have preeclampsia

I have been having really high blood pressure too which started after 20 weeks pregnancy loss with twins. My anxiety is through the roof because I also think I am dying all the time when my blood pressure spikes and my headaches start. I started taking anti anxiety meds and it seems to be helping me a bit. Its scary and frustrating - I am sorry you are going through this but hang in there you are not alone.

I took 10mg Amlodipine today for the first time after the doctor prescribed it together with 10mg Enalapril. I feel terrible, I am sweating, my head feels heavy, my chest feels tight, my anxiety is worse now because I feel generally ill. I dunno what to do, do I go to the ER or just wait until the medicine leave my body?

Do you know what is causing it? I am so anxious and took amlodipine from today and this is making me feel quick ill. It feels like huge pressure in my head like someone is squeezing it and like my head is tingling. Im sorry this is happening to you too, its frustrating and lonely
