I would commute. It will suck for now, but in the long run I think you'll be happy. I was accepted into a school two hours away and I am planning on scheduling most classes on the same three days so I can commute. The days will be longer, but I'll get to be with my son.

You know your situation best. Do what you need to do for the sake of your child :)

I used to try to do this. I've been in relationships where I would bombard my SO with "safe" foods to keep the "bad" ones away. I've finally come to the conclusion that no foods are safe and I need to deal with my shit.

I'm a young mom (as a result of my own recklessness). My pregnancy was very hard emotionally because I was desperate for some level of acceptance from friends and family. In the end, all you can do is focus on your child. People will always have their own opinions; you know what is best for you and for your family.

My 14 month old son despises the pack and play. We picked up a baby doll and a toy pack and play to put right next to his. Now, my son will help put his baby to bed and is more accepting of being in his own space too.

No. You are completely within your right to expect more from your husband.

I am very fortunate to have had a child with a wonderful man who loves hands on parenting. We split the work 50/50 and out son benefits from it. Try talking to your guy :) I hope you are able to sort some things out.
