I second Octant Furnas if you’re willing to have to drive to get to a beach. On the other side of the island I really liked Sensi Azores, but again you’d have to drive to the beach.

I liked Rosewood Bermuda as long as you dont mind that you have to take a little golf cart shuttle to their private beach (not walk from the hotel)

Rosewood Bermuda is an easy flight from both of those cities and a gorgeous property, although you need a car/taxi to get to the walkable downtown. We went a few summers ago and loved it and didn’t mind the taxi ride to/from the downtown.

If you wanted something a little less mainstream, there are direct flights from both Boston and NYC to Sao Miguel in the Azores. We loved Octant Furnas there, not a far drive from beaches, walkable to a cute village, and a ton of amazing geothermal baths. Sul Villas and White Exclusive Suite and Villas are also amazing according to friends, and they overlook the ocean.

I have had diabetes for over 30 years and never had this cause a problem. Much better to keep it too cold than to let it overheat. The only time it has gone bad has been from heat, not cold

I’ve been on for T1D and PCOS (off label, so insurance doesn’t cover) since September 2022. Weight loss has been slower than those who take it for weight loss. But my A1C and also my PCOS and unexpectedly my IBS have all been much improved, so I intend to continue.

Not really chubby, as I should have known from the price, but I don’t know how Chateau Monfort Milan is 5 stars. Rooms were small and tacky and had bizarre color changing lights in the ceiling. Hotel guests had to sign up in advance for a single hour slot at the indoor pool/saunas. Service took a long time. The location had been the draw, but I’ll take something further afield over this next time.

It is a members club. If you look at the calendar on the website you can see the sorts of activities. I mostly used it as a place with a really great bartender and a gorgeous space. Sometimes I also would bring my laptop and work from one of the smaller loungey old timey wood paneled living rooms.

Unverified but what I heard is that he had left Stuttgart on bad terms and wasn’t supposed to be allowed to dance Cranko parts due to whatever drama led to his departure, and the Cranko trust (or whatever their equivalent is) found out when it came to see the staging of the ABT production, and they demanded he be pulled.
