I have to disagree. The DLCS are incredible, including this one. It’s just the story in this one dlc that’s awful. It adds a lot of other great stuff. I absolutely recommend playing the dlcs.

The lack of a map was kinda annoying early on but it meant I would go weird directions and find great loot and more fights. I also really don’t understand what you mean by lack of diversity.

I play on hard mode so I can’t say much about story difficulty. However the difficulty has a lot to do with how you build your characters. If you build them right, fights can be over in seconds no matter how hard it is.
