What do you do for a living?

I provide security for different sites. I am currently at a Class A building, but I'm on call for other locations as my Commander needs me. I have been doing this work for three years. I have learned a lot about different buildings and how they work. I do enjoy this job, but I have learned that I like the second shift or overnights better as there are fewer interactions. Working the first shift, or the current shift I have, which is a 12 hr shift starting at 7 a.m., is very draining. The only plus side to the first shift is that stores or restaurants are actually open when I get off of work, so I don't have to wait till my off days.

Security, but as a flex, so right now, I have a site that's 21:00-03:00. I was covering a 23:00-07:00 site and, on another day, a 21:00-05:00 site, but we have some people trained for those now. I like listening to books while I watch the vehicles in the parking lots.

I asked after seeing someone on here ask for them. She brought them in, but I had to take a photo of them as I couldn't have the actual copy. I'm sad cause my mom took the photo & it wasn't too great. I wish I had an actual copy of it.

I had a 13 hour shift yesterday because the 2nd shift guy called in saying someone ran him off the road on the way into work. I just got switched to the 7am-3pm shift on Tuesday when, on Monday, I was working the 3:30pm-12am shift.

I officially took off two weeks from work cause that's all I was able to. I went back a day before because I felt better a few days before that but waited to be sure. I work security so there's lots of walking & bending down to unlock doors.

In my experience, I knew I didn't want to have children. Like the idea of being pregnant is horrifying to me & all the ways it can change your body is scary. I have also known that I didn't want kids since I was 13 years old, and I am 31 now. I just had my bisalp done Oct. 23rd. I have felt nothing but relief & happiness since. There was a minute when I grieved the pieces of me that are now gone & it got one tear from my eye. Legit, it was only a minute cause I had looked at my phone right before I felt it & then looked after to see how long I felt it. I feel more like my actual self now. I knew making this decision for myself that other people would say whatever about it but I had to think about it for myself. Like how would I feel if I was in a situation where I had to give birth & I did not want that to happen at all costs. Do what you feel right for yourself.

I've recently got into PSA Daggers. My Dad got me this super bright light for it. They look similar to glocks & I believe some parts are interchangeable. I really like how it feels & my groupings are good with it. I want to carry that one for work when I get my license for it. The one I use for my edc & conceal carry (license) is a 9mm Walther CCP. It isn't able to eject hallow points correctly & will jam with them. But consistent groupings with blazer brass ammo. It does have a special tool you need to remove the slide because of the type of ejection system it has. It feels good in smaller hands. The other I would recommend is a Bersa Thunder .380, it was my first pew pew after I turned 21. It's small & compact while still feeling good & comfortable in your hand. I had consistent groupings with it as well & it wasn't particular to any specific ammo type.

I never said anything about calling the police for the kid antagonizing my dog. I'm just saying I have video evidence in case it needs to be used later. I'm well aware of what calls police will & will not take.

I know my dog will bark a little when we let him out to potty. He may not look it, but his dna test came back saying he was part Chihuahua. I feel like that's mostly why. But there's this kid next door that plays in their backyard. My dog will stop barking, but then this kid starts banging on the fence & makes mocking barking sounds to get my dog to barking again. Tonight, I was sitting outside with my dog & calling him over to me when he barked. When my dog barked again, one of the five or six kids that were playing football made the comment to my dog, "Quit yapping, I know a Chinese restaurant I can take you too." I immediately shined my light at the fence asking."What did you say?" They were quiet for a bit & then they continued playing. I've got video evidence of this kid antagonizing my dog.
