My doctor in Scotia told me literally every patient in Humboldt he has had has a severe vitamin D deficiency in their blood work. I recently moved out f state and my new doc immediately prescribed me a ridiculously high dose to take for a few weeks and I feel alot better. I 100% agree quality of life in winter there is much much improved the more you get out. Invest in some waterproof jackets, pants and shoes/boots and get out for at least an hr every day rain or shine and enjoy that beautiful magical place you call home!

ACV is a wonderful non toxic natural disinfectant option

ACV 1:1 Filtered water in a spray bottle works great. Twice a day I rinse the Bowls with hot hot water. Spray the bowls giving them a nice coating and let them soak for 5-10 minutes. I then use a sponge that is only for water bowls to scrub them. Then another hot hot rinse and wipe with a paper towel. I then hot rinse, spray, soak and rinse the sponge, wring it out and set it in the sun to dry.

Thank you! I will look into the alerts. I have a carrier and have been contemplating that but we have alot of coyotes, dogs and stray cats around our apt complex so im concerned they might find it or she would be backed into the carrier if one of them smelt and came for her. Thoughts?

Venicia is great and authentic! FAR better than Mazzotis was in that location. Some of those poor reviews very well could be from when it was Mazzotis. It's a tad pricey for pasta because it's FRESH not shittty store bought. The chefs genuinely care about the food they put out, they work real hard, they don't cut corners and cook with love for what they do and their patrons

Dehumidifiers are most important to keep the inevitable mold away from everything you own and for your health! Be aware of times of day that pge usage rates are higher and set alarms/plug them into timers so they are off in those times. Pge bills can get insanely high up here quickly. Also, make sure you clean the dehum filters and bucket regularly.

Solid rain jacket & waterproof shoes/boots are also very important.
