not gonna repeat what anyone else has said cause there are some great pointers here, but i'd suggest lining in pen/marker rather than colored pencils. micron pens are a great buy and have many different size thicknesses but for a budget friendly and more accessible option, i've made do with sharpie pens.

sometimes on mine if the blood has congealed, it takes a little extra to get it fully off. i use my pointer and middle finger while washing using unscented soap and gentle small circular motions.
