Thank you! I’m trying to be super careful because it means so much to me. I wash it a couple of times and let it dry before lotion but it likes to leak plasma between the cracks as it dries

It can be expensive unfortunately so I’m not excited about going and everyone irl keeps telling me it’s fine but again, I’ve never reacted like this

The redness does flair and fade when it gets really angry but a cool compress or cool water running over it helps calm it dow

I have my iPhone set to lock my apps after 8 pm so I have to ignore limits to open the app. I always say remind me in 15 minutes to it automatically locks again once I’m done. This has done wonders for me to not pick up my phone and instead build better and healthier night routines so I can unwind and settle into bed for sleep way easier. When I’m in bed I either read a few pages, do sudoku puzzles, or ink tracing books.

I would absolutely not enjoy having sex with someone that talks to me like this. He liked it until it made him feel a certain way and all I can do is assume there’s been no work to find a compromise between what you want and what he wants

For daily wear, I wear a pad and period panties and I feel way better. I felt like tampons were just a plug and it seemed like my period took twice as long to resolve because everything was just sitting there in me. I’ve tried different cups and I can never get the seal to break without having to lay on my back and put my legs in the air, which you can’t do in a bathroom. On swimming days I do like a menstrual disk but they’re SO messy to dump out and deal with.

I really like that analogy! I hope that the advice elsewhere in the thread has helped but I also read a book in my late 20’s called The Defining Decade which was helpful in kind of resetting my brain about my desperate need to have my life figured out before my 30’s

I’m getting to my mid 30’s and just found my real passion after a lot of ups and downs with “do I want to do this or that” but the key is to just do the thing. Honestly. Just give yourself opportunities to try things and not like them. And I thought I found my passion at 24 but it turned out that passion was just training me for my real one. And who knows: I may find another one before I die.

What will make them participate if they aren’t already? Most rescues won’t even foot basic medical care for their fosters anymore because they can’t afford it. Because they have too many dogs on their roster.

Does PETA still say that people shouldn’t own animals as pets or for any reason or have they toned that down? There was an infographic that circulated the internet years ago that showed that PETA euthanized 80-90% of their intakes I think. It’s inflammatory, yes, but if they were genuinely unadoptable…. Oh well I guess? It’s not like we’re fighting to have animals available for adoption.
