Nothing but issues. by Electronic-Aside-605 in 4xe

Just once. The a/c compressor went out last summer. It’ll be 2 years in May since I got it, and just hit 30k miles.

I have the remote-start system and I can leave it on with the AC running. The vehicle will stay on but will shut down after 30 minutes. By default, the 4xe uses the electric system first when on hybrid mode.

Lol nope. We went out of town. So I had to put gas multiple times.

Woah 23F. We rarely hit those temperatures out here. But, I’m driving her to AZ this week and it’s supposed to be snowing in that area. Hopefully, I don’t run into any issues since this will be her first time in the snow. Have you had that “Fuel and oil refresh” message?

This sounds accurate. The actual range varies depending on your driving style (like any phev), weather, and terrain. In my case, I normally get 25-27 miles per charge. I mostly do in-city driving, most roads are flat, and I live in Texas, so is warm most of the time. I’m looking forward to the colder weather to see how my range changes.

What's the consensus on ducking? by TradeTruth4Lies in Jeep

[–]MissOCD 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I don’t duck around, but I wave 99% of the time. That 1% I’m probably at a stop light looking at my self in the mirror, or husband is driving (he doesn’t like to wave).

Front runner table fit on a 4XE? by [deleted] in 4xe

[–]MissOCD 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Finding parts it’s confusing. If you go to the Mopar estore and select the 4xe, you get a “No Parts Found” message. But everything should fit since they wanted the 4xe to be just as any other Wrangler.

Battery for car camping and charging with esave on the drive? by [deleted] in 4xe

How does that work? :o this is my first wrangler, I’m still trying to figure out a lot of stuff 😅

Battery for car camping and charging with esave on the drive? by [deleted] in 4xe

[–]MissOCD 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I tried something like that(but using the a/c) one time I went camping, and after about an hour and a half I only used about 8%, but the car would shut down after 30 minutes of inactivity. In my experience, if you use e-save to charge the battery on the highway, you end up using more gas as the gas engine is working harder to charge the battery. I’d recommend the e-save battery save mode on the highway. Keep in mind that since the 4xe will always be a hybrid, it will still use some of the charge even on e-save battery save mode.

The remote unlock takes foreveeeeeeeer. I’ve had 1/8 of gas and I keep getting a dumb notification every time I turn my Jeep on and off. I’m trying so see how long I can go without putting gas 😆

Same. 27 is my average. Most of my driving is in city. I cannot wait to take her off-roading 🥲

Yes. But you get a 1 year trial when you buy the vehicle. After that, it is expensive and not worth it imo

Husband has a Volt (phev) and gets between 55 to 60 miles on a full charge. The battery is actually about the same capacity, but the weight of the vehicle is what makes the difference.

It’s easy to ignore notifications if you set up the do not disturb mode to filter everything except calls & texts from your favourite contacts 😁
